  1. Not gonna lie, i would love to see a TMNT 2d brawler revival. And the old-school 80's TMNT, not the 15 reboots theyve had since then. I scoffed at the Streets of Rage 4 announcement, but its looking pretty legit.
  2. I used to love acting like a clueless dad buying something for his kid, just to see how much bullshit the clerk had in him/her. It was incredible. Not sure about other parts of the country, but the geeks in my neck of the woods would hire a girl based on her cuteness level and not her knowledge of the actual product, so i would have a bit of fun asking them stupid questions just to see what they said. Man, i really will be glad to see this place go lol.
  3. The last time i went in a Gamestop was when they had a sale on all games 14.99 and under and strangely many of the games were priced at 17.99. Gamestop had always priced their shit in $5 increments before, so you could go in and find a ton of games at $14.99 Then they started pulling that "Pro Member" pricing bullshit and all the normal prices started looking like $17 or $18... So if you wanted to take advantage of their "sales" you had to pay for their pro membership. That was the point i told Gamestop to go fuck itself and i havent been back.
  4. Yeah that won't be confusing at all... Nothing like asking "who the fuck is this?" every time your buddy logs in with a different username.
  5. Going by what I've learned from seeing what happens to everyone that plays Jumanji... gonna give that one a pass. Unless I get turned into Karen Gillan, in which case I'll be in my trailer.
  6. I'm pretty burnt out on pixel art games, but at least this one has some style to it. It leans more toward the early Playstation era of 2d graphics as opposed to 8 and 16-bit. I might give it a try one of these days.
  7. I generally like games that are linear and story-driven, mainly because it leaves little room for downtime. My main complaint with MMO's was that if a streamer entered a town, you might as well go make a sandwich and take a nap, cuz they'll be fucking around in their inventory for 45 minutes. Or they'll put their character in some emote and go afk. Games like Uncharted, Last of Us, Resident Evil, etc. are usually what I'll default to mainly because they're constantly pushing forward. I won't even bother with competitive games like Fortnite, Overwatch, etc cuz the streamers themselves are usually pretty douchey and they get on my nerves. People who play the low-key single player games tend to be more laid back.
  8. There better be an entire episode dedicated to Cloud cross-dressing like a prostitute and getting tea-bagged by the Don or I'm out.
  9. Out of those, the only one i'm surprised we havent seen more of is Ori.
  10. If you like Splinter Cell, then yes. It offers the most flexible approach to a situation yet. You also get rewarded for playing your way instead of punished.
  11. She's alright when it comes to reporting and hosting, but her opinions on things seesaw more than a piece of playground equipment.
  12. "Embrace your powers and join key members of the development team at Crystal Dynamics and the creative team at Marvel Games as they talk exclusively about the upcoming Marvel's Avengers. This is the defining Avengers gaming experience: an epic action-adventure that combines cinematic storytelling with continuous single-player and co-operative gameplay. Moderated by Andrea Rene, assemble in teams up to four players, master extraordinary abilities, customize your heroes to fit your playstyle, and combine powers to defend an ever-expanding world under constant threat." Sounds like a Destiny/Anthem/Division clone. Yay. If accurate, my hype level just fell through the floor. I would be happy to be wrong, but after seeing what happened with Bioware and Anthem, having another historically single player dev working on an online (probably loot-driven) game isn't instilling me with a ton of confidence.
  13. Yes. Even if just for closure. I actually liked Blacklist, even if I didn't care for the way they integrated co-op into the story (i never had a co-op buddy to play with so that part of the game was essentially closed off to me). It left me hopeful for another game, but their reluctance to announce one does have me wary that they've been fucking around trying to figure out a way to Ubi-fy it, rather than just making a good, linear game.
  14. I created a poor character when I first played DOS1. Then I re-started the game, put more thought into it, and got a bit further... until I hit another wall because my character was less poor, but still poor. I was done after that. I actually have DOS2 but haven't started it yet. I hear this one is a little bit better balanced. We'll see.
  15. Honestly, if they're not going to announce a new Splinter Cell, they should just tell us now. No point in leaving us hanging the entire time.
  16. Which is also BS. What they should be working on is Legacy of Kain.
  17. Man.. on one hand, I want to be interested in this.. but on the other hand.. It's Kojima. Here's to hoping the gameplay is solid.
  18. A teaser announcement for a teaser announcement! E3 is truly in the air. Also, I don't trust Squeenix with the Marvel property. It could be cool... but I'm not getting my hopes up. Also if I hear the word "heart" anywhere in there, I will murder a bitch.
