Alpha1Cowboy
Quite the clusterfuck of a launch...but still better than this year.
gamer.tv
I liked the PS2 but never loved it. I do feel though that if I’d been a bit older when it launched (I think I was 10 or 11) it would be an all time favourite.
Bloodporne
Many great memories from this era. The two titles I think of most are Metal Gear Solid 2 and Devil May Cry when remembering the PS2.
chakoo
PS2 imo is still such a beast in terms of hardware design. I still remember the massive manuals that you could get with your devkit. Also funny coincidence, yesterday I was looking at my ps2 collection in storage to see what I still had without realizing that the anniversary was today. I honestly never cared and can't remember having a reaction at all, just that the game was extremely cool and fresh.

crispy4000
PS2 has proven to be quite a struggle to emulate over the past 2 decades. Possibly more than the Saturn. I'd love to go back and enjoy some of those games in modern fashion, but there's still some nagging input lag issues with PCSX2 apparently. There's also some remastered stuff on the PS3 that never made it to PS4. Sly Cooper Collection comes to mind.
ARZ
Ahh, what a wonderful time it was to be a gamer!
Best
I have a great memory of being 3rd in line at bestbuy for an all night wait. The launch sucked but I was pumped to get a hold of a ps2 at that age.
Dre801
I'd probably still have an OG fat model if I hadn't loaned it to some chick who thought it was Ok to pawn it; she claimed she needed cash and had plans to buy it back but it was too late

XxEvil AshxX
Sony should celebrate by remastering Champions of Norrath. But not Champions II.
Rodimus
Yup, PS2 is retro. Last games came out in and around 2007.
