Nintendo The Legend of Zelda™: Skyward Sword HD [Jul 16, 2021 ]

I'm not, though I do wonder how much more engaging the game would be without any unnecessary waggle - and the fact it can be played as a handheld is always tempting with games like this... -

I can’t say I’ve put any time into an AC game since Black Flag (origins just wasn’t for me) so I’m in the ‘oh well’ camp.

I ended up going with Metroid Fusion - so far, so good. I love the GBA era (and that era of Nintendo in general). It was all very assured, very much treading familiar ground - all fantastic. I can understand the Wii and the DS had to happen, but I do miss that time in the companies life. -

Just played a tiny bit of FF7:R. Work and life is still too busy to really game at the moment, but I’m hoping over the summer holidays I’ll have some time to get an actual game or two finished. I might just finish FF7:R and then play something on the DS I’ve not touched as I’m pretty sure my wife will be playing Breath of the Wild for the next few months. -
Our Friend - I wasn’t quite ready for something that emotional, as-hoc, on a Monday evening. 8.5/10, mainly so I’m being objective - but on first impressions and how I felt, add another 1 to that. Edit: I read the article that led to the film. Very hard reading, especially with the context that one in two people will experience cancer in their life.

Speaking of weight lifting - several months later - I’ve managed two gym sessions this week. Trying to find a way of meaningfully exercising and 30 minute sessions in the gym, running home from work and the odd cardio session/hike will hopefully be enough till my daughter is a bit older. I was just starting to feel that pull of working a lot, being at home a lot, eating food and not finding the time to actually exercise - which is always a mood inhibitor for me.

I find it interesting that Covid rates are continuing to rise in the UK - with a fair portion of the country still waiting for their second vaccination and our Health Secretary and PM are happy to remove any restrictions on the 19th of July, including the need to wear masks. I’m looking forward to my second Pfizer vaccine in mid-August...

One of my best friends had one in his house for years. It was a highlight of staying over at his, using it to call my parents to pick me up. (Along with having a great time as well).

This is to your own interpretation (so it can be crossovers of franchises, video game character cross overs etc). I very much want to see the M$ and Nintendo collaboration to get Cloud gaming on the Switch, access to M$ backcatalog etc. Just to see as well and speaking of Nintendo, I’d love them to farm out a lesser known franchise to someone like Insomniac or Sucker Punch to have a crack at.

Same, though I understand the need to test the waters (whilst stealth getting the game to alpha) to gauge the potential sales. -
If I was single, it would be a stupid number of things - as it stands I’d be hard pushed to see more than 10 things which are ‘mine’.

Yep. Still better than (most) of last season but it felt rushed somehow. -

I tried out the very, very start of Days Gone and I’m not sure if I was tired, or just that bad at driving in the game.
