  1. The nose assumes it’s all the time though, so really it’s which is worse - a potential load of Covid or a constant, small stream of it.
  2. Can we all take a moment as a message board of people that enjoy playing games to appreciate this.
  3. I need to have a clear out and sort of the games in our house - but after discussion I traded in a Wii U Pro Controller and Breath of the Wild (Wii U) for BotW on the Switch. Both my wife and I wanted to play it again, but no chance we’re setting the Wii U up. In fact, I’ll put it back k in its box and put some plastic on it and attic it - it’s the Wind Walker version so chances are will be worth a bomb in 5 years.
  4. I have such fond memories of all three ME games (like most, in particular the first two) - but I don’t know if they’re games I would want to go back to now. Obviously I’ll now end up buying them over the summer and love them.
  5. Of all things, Pokemon Soul Silver. I’ve been reading about Sword and Shield and for no real reason, want them. That’s not happening as I have a load of games to play, so picking Soul Silver back up kills the urge. I’m in some psychic, burned city place. Update: I now have the fog badge and an overwhelming desire to have a fantastic 6 Pokemon line up despite the fact I know nothing about Pokemon strategy. At the moment I have: Croconaw Raticate Machop Vulpix Flaafy Pidgeotto I think I’m going to bump Flaafy for Magnemite and hopefully get a less rubbish fire type and something more interesting than Raticate/Machop as they’re just boring looking.
  6. That's very kind of you to say. It helps that I love about 90% of the things that I do. It means I'm happy - but at the moment use always very tired.
  7. I love my job (teaching children) - but it can be mentally exhausting dealing with everything outside of the classroom at times. I’d never say it grinds be down, at least not yet - but it would be nice to only have to deal with teaching children and nothing else.
  8. This thread is wonderfully illuminating, in a sad kind of way.
  9. This but with chapter 12, no Eternal Darkness but a lot of working/sleeping thrown in the mix.
  10. Fire Emblem Animal Crossing Smash Bros Luigi's Mansion 3 Pokemon Sword/Shield New Pokemon Snap Pikmin 3 Links Awakening Plus all the marios
  11. I’ve listened to half of the latest bombcast and is it just me, or does it feel lessons friends talking mostly shit, but rather industry professionals offering some decent insight blended with comedy?
  12. I’ve appreciated the messaging in the UK where they’re reinforced the fact that the clinical trials have been as robust as any other vaccine released and so, as safe as any other vaccine we use.
  13. johnny it’s spelled ‘vegan’
  14. I’m so glad we haven’t had to wait an eternity for more.
  15. This sums up my current position.
  16. Mobile consistently. I used to post mostly from a laptop, it now as I tend to browse and post either when travelling or a holding a baby - this is much easier.
  17. Naturally the past year has made me consider the the possibility that I may be stuck on my bedroom and not really be able to leave it for a prolonged period of time, and what I’d do. Just to add some extra spice, let’s say no internet. Id be very tempted to use the time to try and finish something from a previous generation I’ve not managed. I’ve got both San Andreas and FFX in my cupboard and a PS2, so one of those would be very tempting - most likely leaning towards the former.
  18. Most of the UK have voted to allow the political party that presided over more than 120,000 deaths to run most local offices. Yay.
  19. We’ve been watching Them. I’m enjoying it, and I understand it’s pinpointing a certain time in history in a very particular way - but it sometimes feels like it’s trying to be unpleasant in a way that doesn’t progress anything, other than a feeling of being uncomfortable due to the language or imagery. I appreciate that it’s the point, I just don’t know of its a particularly well made point.
  20. I mean, I shouldn’t laugh at the typo as it isn’t even funny, but, here we are...
  21. How many days on average, each week do you play games? Alongside that, how long does each session last for? I probably manage 2-3 sessions a week, each lasting about an hour or so. I may have the odd day where through some miracle everyone is out, jobs around the house are done and I can get a 2+ hour session in, but that’s few and far between.
  22. I had next to no interest in this. But in the last few days I suddenly need to have it. Only...20 odd days till pay day.
  23. Some FF7 - up to Chapter 10 now. Nth wife is playing New Pokemon Snap and loving it. Also, at some point today I’ll finish another Eternal Darkness chapter.
  24. Can anyone see a new Switch appearing next year? It feels vaguely at this point they’d almost be better following the apple route of iterative upgrades and allow consumers to trade in for a discount.
