  1. In what world would someone think that’s OK. I mean, the car besides, just actually leaving a child alone…
  2. I really enjoyed Death Stranding, but I'd have no interest in more of the same. A sequel would have to massively build on the combat, the bosses, the mission type/structure whilst still retaining the solitude, the integration of music, the traversal (which I really liked). If true, colour me interested.
  3. Not started yet (and most likely it’ll be my wife playing) so I’ll reveal all when the time comes.
  4. I played (but didn’t complete) 4 around release on the GC, getting to the island. Same in the Wii and finally completed it on the PS4 this year. I’m open to a decent remake.
  5. Just traded in Assassins Creed: Odyssey and Resident Evil: Village for Pokemon Sword. I’m definitely part of the problem.
  6. Really sorry to hear that this happened - though like everyone, I’m really happy to hear it’s going as well as it can do. The last few posts have also made me feel incredibly grateful for the standard of care you receive in the UK from the NHS.
  7. Finished RE: Village. Great game and definitely one of the better games I’ve played this year. Now I need to wrap up the last few chapters of FF7:R. Ridiculously, I was out walking my daughter and decided to play Pokemon Go for the first time. I love a good walk, so this might liven up our route a bit.
  8. Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. B Links Awakening (Switch). A Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope. B South Park: The Fractured But Whole. B- Control B+ Undertale B+ Golf Story B Resident Evil: Village A
  9. We all need to remember the other fact that whilst a great controller, the GC controller was wank for third party games.
  10. RE: Village. I’m quite close to the end of the game and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s not the best RE game I’ve played, but top 5 easily (at least so far). It’s been a fantastic action game though. Once finished, on to Luigi's Mansion 3, which I’ve played about 20 minutes of and shockingly, really like.
  11. The GameCube was the most affordable console ever. Not considering inflation, it cost £140 less than the Switch cost me when bought new.
  12. Beard, recently trimmed by my barber, but if I pull down the chin part it's about 3 inches long.
  13. Downton Abbey (the movie). Shit if you hate or haven’t watched the show, lovely if you have - just complete fan service.
  14. By having the best IPs and always having at least once console that somehow appears just at the right time (see Gameboy, SNES, DS, Wii and Switch) to keep the money rolling in.
  15. We know how successful streaming has become with television and film, but do you think that streaming gmaes, once it becomes seamless, has the same possibility? I can still see a place for traditional consoles, but how many years do you estimate we are from people accessing a video game streaming service from their television Apps and playing without a traditional console in the room? I'm going to suggest within 5 years it will be integrated and common (as we move from this generation into the next) and then once the next big evolution of internet becomes common place (much in the same way fibre become mostly the norm), would a safe bet be 10 years time for a high number of people playing video games being those without a traditional console at all to play AAA games?
  16. Adding to that, there's the cinematic travel system, which makes the whole travelling better (and gives you a good amount of time to play on your phone at the same time).
  17. Been on holiday so enjoying some swimming/paddle boarding - went on a 6+ mile run the other day by the coast which was lovely, but I'm guessing I had my shoes laced incorrectly as it's made the top of my left foot bruised/swollen. It was nice to know I still have the legs for that distance though.
  18. I wonder if most of these ideas were conceived during the height of the pandemic (pre-vaccine) when companies were deciding on what would be the easiest release with the highest yield.
  19. I think it’s just the convoluted mess that COD is due to the success of Warzone. Everything I’ve played in the last few years has been fine, the only exception being The Last of Us: Part 2 because of the install disc.
  20. I really didn’t want to be a cliche, but it has to be Ocarina of Time. Second place is RE2 and third would be Bioshock.
  21. I may well get Season 2 for the Halloween’s months. I played through season 1 with my wife about five years ago and we loved it - but never delved any further.
