  1. I’m much more reflective about everything - which certainly helps when it comes to managing/processing more difficult moments in life. That’s been the key difference between myself now and ten years ago. I’ve always been very driven, but now it is more focused/less self-driven.
  2. My usual approach: t-shirt, hoody, jeans. If you get chilly, wear a nice bobble hat. Also, pack a decent waterproof coat.
  3. I’ve justified playing the national lottery occasionally as a lot of the money funds grassroots sport, or gets circulated into the education sector. Plus there’s that tiny chance I could win £20,000,000…
  4. Things I am thankful for - Starbucks being open at 7.30am on a Sunday and then having a toilet. Edit: rest of the run was decent - my phone said 4 and a bit miles, my heart says to knock a mile or so off that.
  5. I think I want to do a Masters in Education but I’d need some magic time-stopping device to do so
  6. I’m in deep in Fire Emblem: Three Houses…not literally as I’m only on chapter 8, but I’m loving the loop. If I had zero things on, and a good series on telly, I could easily play for a good 6 hours.
  7. All I know is, I played Bayonetta 2 at launch and loved it - and you will too. Buy it, buy it now!
  8. So…Mordaunt (which sounds like a Rowling prequel villain) vs Sunak and Johnson has declared, despite having sufficient votes, he will not run. The fact is, whoever MPs vote in, at least 1/3 will be voting for someone they don’t believe in. I’m also assuming Johnson has learned that all the damming evidence about his illegality during his entire time as PM was in fact very serious, bad news, and will mean he will lose his job. Kind of like when he lied as a journalist and…lost his job.
  9. I’ve not watched, but want to know - is the 3 hour, fan edited version of The Hobbit (where all three films are condensed down to one) worth finding? Rings of Power has left a hole in my life and although we’ll be rewatching LotR soon - I know I’ll need more!
  10. I think everyone has that feeling. It is a reminder though to say ‘yes’ to a lot of play opportunities.
  11. I mean, you aren’t wrong. I just want my chosen party in (Labour) so I can at least moan about the Parliament I chose.
  12. So the choices are: choose someone who wasn’t picked last time, have a person back as leader that’s currently under investigation for illegal shit during his tenure, or have a General Election. If your concern is about the people of a country, is it even a hard choice at this point? However, politics fundamentally is self-serving - so I can’t wait for one of the failures to come back into the fold.
  13. Oddly, I’ve only ever played the first game properly (about half way) in 2011 and really like it - then never touched another game, outside of maybe 20 minutes with 2 when I was about 13 - when it royally freaked me out. I’d love a remake of the first game (or two), but equally, would quite enjoy a Supermassive type game, in the setting.
  14. I e always wanted to know what Viewtiful Joe’s car would look like and now, I do!
  15. Played rugby, great fun. 8 ish tackles, couple of carries, one turn over - but I have hurt my right calf. Feels vaguely like a tear…
  16. I really enjoyed that. It feels like a show however that when it concludes, I’ll never rewatch the first season, maybe just the final episode to remind myself of what happened. I enjoyed it, but it’s been a slow burn.
  17. I’m in a very indecisive place. Do I want to move jobs to try a new setting, do we want a second child, when our dog eventually dies - will we get another one, I’m really enjoying rugby at the moment but is the risk worth it… I feel like I need a few epiphanies/realisations in my life.
  18. I could see Kwarteng stepping aside as some atonement, but mumblings of back benchers are if there isn’t a u-turn, or evidence this change to the economy is working, MPs will vote to change the law so Truss can receive a no-confidence vote - then really, it has to be a general election, otherwise that’s just (even more) ridiculous.
  19. Clearly I’m in the minority here, but a couple of those games peaked me interest. I’ll give VC a whirl, would love to try DQ11 and my wife may like Builders.
  20. Florida. Can we consider a minor award for the least visited?
  21. More a gameplay point of view. I liked the approach that P5 had to ‘dungeons’ and character profession.
  22. Improving yearly, but for the foreseeable, I’ll always feel like I’m short of cash and either have to decline a lot, or accept that none of my money will be spent on myself (exclusively). I’m fine with all of this though.
