Thanks for all the advice guys. Got him started today. He saw me playing Sonic which he liked but only played for a bit because it was too hard for him. Moved into MARIO Kart 8 with the assists in and he really dug that. Next we tried Arms with the motion controls and he LOVED it! Even started to figure out blocking and the special attacks by the end. Now he’s just running around MARIO Odyssey exploring which he’s really enjoying. We’re off and running haha.

Might cave and get this. Only played it a little back when it originally came out. Seems like the perfect toilet game lol.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie 7/10 If you’re a fan of the show you’ll enjoy the movie. Tons of cameos. It’s a fun enough story the basically serves the purpose of chaining together a whole bunch of short interviews. Definitely stay after the credits though. There’s 5 minutes of out takes from the interviews that are HILARIOUS.

I actually really miss all the movie tie in games. As shitty as most of them were. Even that terrible Matrix game they released with Reloaded I loved haha. If it’s got the music then I’m all over this. Looks like a really fun weekend game.

Just started Man of Medan tonight. Loving it. There’s a kind of “narrator” who seems to be acting as this anthologies “Crypt Keeper” which I LOVE. The game itself feels a little less polished than Until Dawn was. Which is kind of odd. There’s so odd very very short loading that kind of breaks the immersion. But other than that I love it!

Looking for some advice from the gamer dads out there. Im looking to start getting my 5 year old into console gaming for the first time and I need some advice on good games to start with. He’s been playing games on a phone/iPad since he was 2 so he’s got a pretty good grasp on general principles of games. But transitioning him from using his finger to using a controller, especially today’s controllers, has me at a loss. Any good games out there that would be good for a kid, that aren’t too complicated control wise that he can start to learn how to use a controller with? Thanks guys!

I think that sounds like a cool a idea. Like the equivalent of the “are you a robot” things websites have. Only this is “are you a dick” and it’s actually something fun to do.

I was actually surprised how genuine that apology seemed. Obviously no one can know how true or sincere it was except the person writing it. But I’m inclined to believe her. We strive for change and for people to better themselves. So I think we also must not rush to invalidate but to embrace those on seemingly on the edge of that change and betterment.

You know what I would do I if was a Disney marketing exec and I had a super edgy movie coming out under another studio? I’d leak that the parent company is worried the movie might be too edgy.

I mean, they made a movie out of The Ladies Man so why not?

Watch the movie first. The show is so grand I feel like if you’ve never seen the movie it might be a let down if you watch it second. Plus you’ll have an appreciation for how damn on point the show got everything and every character from the movie.

I believe you can only use points purchased with real money to level your player to a certain point. Like 87/88 overall. After that you have an endless grind to get them any higher.
