  1. This is 100% false. They’re around more than they ever have been before.
  2. Hereditary was good but not as great as this board would like everyone to think. And yeah, the whole point of Halloween was a “rehappening” of the events. Michael went back to being a force, more of an animal instinct and thus became predictable. Lori uses that to flip the whole thing on him. In actuality she was hunting him. It’s the perfect way to revisit and get audience familiar again with a 40 year old character that’s been constantly ruined ever since his debut. Sets them up perfectly to move forward. Sorry you didn’t like it, maybe check out the Rob Zombie Halloween movies. They might be more your speed 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. In my continuing “Why did it take me so long to read Neil Gaiman” tour... Neverwhere Not that far into but really enjoying it so far.
  4. New Halloween was the perfect way to borrow from the original source and what made it great while giving it a fun new twist that makes you watch the movie in a whole new way once it happens. Only horror movie better last year was Mandy
  5. Oh oh oh lemme jump in if we’re digging up old debates... 99.9% of the population is too stupid to understand sequels or potential sequels The Last Jedi sucked because they didn’t use any of my fab fiction ideas that I tweeted them. Man of Steel sucked because “it’s not my Superman 😭” Halloween sucked because @Emblazon said so and not what critics and the public thought. That’s all I can think of right now haha
  6. I don’t know if anyone has stopped to read them but the episode descriptions are low key hilarious lol
  7. So whose got tips for shedding/slimming belly fat? Everything else is building and shaping nicely but unsurprisingly I just can’t get my stomach over that last hurdle. Not even aiming for a 6 pack, just want it to be flat again lol
  8. Just watched episode one and really enjoyed it. Given the warnings at the beginning of the show I thought the assault was gonna be really uncomfortable. I take it in the book that scene was a lot more gratuitous?
  9. So the story cut scenes and the battles look awesome to me. But the entire student teacher concept seems mind numbingly boring. Like how much is actually playing the game and much is walking around talking to everyone and spending time in stat and item inventories?
  10. No genius. But a dog on a leash still can dart because people never truly heel(sp?) their dogs. You walk your dog on your inside so if it darts it won’t be into the street. The whole “keep X on the inside” is for that reason, to keep them from falling or accidentally going into the street. If a car is far enough over to clip the person/pet closer to the road, odds are they’re gonna clip you too.
  11. You have no idea how much it pisses me off when I see people walking their dogs and they have dogs on the street side.
  12. You're in no place to be commentating on what is and isn't boring after your bullshit flip flop on RDR2
  13. That trailer seems to give away a lot of the potential mystery and tension of the show
  14. The first one was one of the most pleasant surprises I’ve ever had at the theater. Can’t wait for this one.
  15. Shazam 4/5: Really enjoyed it, although it lost me a little when his “team” forms up at the end. That was cheesy. And I also spent a lot of time just wishing he’d get good at his Super Powers already. But all in all I enjoyed it a lot.
  16. Oh they’re making a show from Cursed!! Nice!! Not particularly my favorite Arthurian interpretation but I take any I can get. On the topic of which will replace GoT. I think it will eventually come from HBO. I don’t think you can create the kind of hype and water cooler fever unless you have a show that has weekly episodes instead of all at once.
