It’s honestly weird that I, a lover of trash food, have never had one.

I love that “they have fifth gen fighters”, a thing we have no real frame of reference for, is literally the only thing we know about the enemy. It doesn’t matter.

Yeah, that doesn’t really line up with my starting experience. By the time I was 10 hours in, my map was filled side quests and gigs, I had 3 “main” quests to choose from, I was honestly overwhelmed with the amount of things to do. Are you just wandering around looking aimlessly? The game really isn’t built for that. Open your map, pick a point of interest, go there and do the thing.

I definitely try not to think about the fact that anyone could just drop at any time.

Ok, I underestimated how much I missed this show. And they kinda need the longer runtimes now that the cast is so large and so spread out.

They’re a dull white. Like, they aren’t movie star white, but not really discolored either.

This is unfair, but now I’ll always think of you as Guy Who Just Bought a Boat.

My dad would watch every single medical drama on TV just to complain about how inaccurate and implausible they are. I think House is what eventually killed him. Can we blame Neil deGrasse Tyson for popularizing this kind of “criticism”? That’s some of the most annoying shit to me. Sorry the placement of the stars in the sky isn’t accurate to the exact date of when this scene is taking place. Can’t believe the director let such an egregious error slip by!

I think that 2 is ultimately a fine movie for what it is, but it’s by far the least essential. Unless the green gas shown in the new trailer is a new form of Chimera, everyone involved in making these movies has agreed to pretty much forget that 2 ever happened.

The second part of the season is just episodes 8 and 9. It seems silly to hold only two episodes for a month, but that is nearly 4 hours of content.

I guess this was one of the first shows I remember people basically bragging about how they watched a whole season in a day or whatever. If that’s the audience you have in mind while making your show, the length of individual episodes are kinda arbitrary. Maybe for the final “season” they stop being cowards and just release a twelve hour movie and be done with it.

Luckily, you have plenty of time to catch up! They’re all worth watching. Well… you can skip 2.

Sale is a snooze for me. I don’t think there’s really anything left for me to buy on the PS4. I’ve got everything that interests me, either on it or another platform. I guess that’s what we call a good problem to have.

One thing I like about streaming TV is the flexibility of episode runtimes, but this is ridiculous. I'm really curious to see what the fuck happens that justifies a 2.5 hour episode of this show.

Agreed. I just rewatched the last 3 movies because this trailer got me so hyped. Rogue Nation in particular is really goofy for most of its runtime. The slick, Bond-like opera scene features three different people assembling disguised guns. In the big underwater sequence, he's got a literal video game life bar displayed on his wrist. And the ridiculously convoluted reason they have to do that in the first place is to trick a security camera that measures how you walk! Can't trick that with a mask! During the car chase scene, Hunt is so disoriented he can barely walk because he was legally dead thirty seconds ago, but of course it all works out, even after the car flips like 20 times (seatbelts save lives, kids). The main henchman is called The Bone Doctor!

The video on TMZ starts a little sooner than the one in the tweet, but still doesn’t show the start of the fight. I laughed when the employee kinda squares up and bounces back and forth like he’s imitating boxers he’s seen in movies.

Local cops are supposed to fall under the “good guy with a gun” category of people who are supposed to prevent/end this kinda thing, right? If they have to wait for better guys with bigger guns, what the fuck good is it to arm teachers?

I wasn't paying attention two years ago - didn't realize this was coming to Switch. That's probably where I'll end up buying it.
