I’ve been listening to The Dresden Files audiobooks, mostly at work. I just finished book 6, Blood Rites. It’s been a while since I really got into a series.

Sunset Overdrive - Since I got an Xbone a month ago, this is one of the few games I've put some real time into. This style of open world action game doesn't always click with me, but I'm enjoying this one. It's not the kind of thing that I can play for hours at a time, but I love jumping in for a mission or two and wrecking stuff. I think I'm getting close to the end of the story, and that'll probably be enough for me.

Really though, the easy solution is to just expand the Bond universe, right? Keep M and Q, and follow a different 00 that could be played by anyone.

Apparently e-ticketing theaters have a different arrangement with MoviePass, because all of their movies are still available to me. But yeah, since yesterday morning the only thing available everywhere else is Slender Man. I was a little surprised to see that for today as well. I thought it might have been something just to get them through the weekend.

This is just getting silly. I was able to use MP yesterday for The Meg, no problem. This morning, looking at times deciding what I wanted to see and where, my options were wide open. Checking again now, my only option at most theaters is Slender Man. My few local e-ticket theaters, as usual, don’t seem to be affected.

I'll gladly admit that I don't often "get it", but I thought that the final rap was clearly set up and earned. If I had any problem with that climatic scene, it has to do with

But really though, how many ways are there to describe the basic setup of Metroid: Samus Returns?

The last 20 minutes or so really delivered what I want from a movie like this. Everything leading up to that didn’t do much for me.

I was visiting some old friends of the family last fall. I hadn't really spent much time with them since I was a kid, so I didn't realize how... out of touch they are. At some point the topic of James Bond came up, and the dad of this family mentioned these call for a black Bond, laughing like it was a ridiculous joke. "Oh yeah, I've heard that. Idris Elba. Dude is talented, charming, super British, and happens to be black. He deserves to be a bigger star and would be a great Bond." His response was muttering something about Martin Lawrence with a bad British accent, and I just rolled my eyes and changed the subject as quickly as possible.

As much as I loved Season 1, I’m really not sure why I haven’t kept up.

I keep meaning to see it, but I’ve been uncharacteristicly busy lately.

Every 6 months or so, I'll dust off Diablo III, play it for an hour, think "oh yeah, this game is alright" then I put it back down. I might need to start it over some day with a different class.

Man, I absolutely adored this game when it came out, but I was watching some gameplay of it a while ago, and I think I would find the characters and overall style annoying now. I might not want to play through it again.

Since I got MP, I’ve averaged 5 movies a month. I could live with 3, and go on discount days for the others.

From what I understand, yeah, that's what it usually mean. Shows like True Detective, Fargo, and American Horror Story would also count since they have completely different stories/casts each season.
