Yes, and thank you for the generous use of the term “joke”.

My previous statement was “I don’t fuck and tell”. That’s what I fixed. I set that up on a tee and nobody hit it. So no girlfriend. Sorry to get your hopes up.

I can safely say that my dick is bigger than any penis I’ve ever seen in porn.

You're thinking of For Honor. This series is very different. -

General Gaming What are you playing today?
TheLeon replied to CastlevaniaNut18's topic in The Spawn Point
I’ve been playing a lot of Slay the Spire on iPad. I’ve finally beaten it (4th boss) once with the Ironclad. Now to do it with the other 3 classes, which will probably take a while. I kinda stumbled into my winning strategy accidentally this time. -

Movies Oscar Nominations for 2020

And the Best Picture people are gonna show up. The night ended with an apathetic Joaquin Phoenix accepting the award on Hopkins' behalf, and that's it. Not like Nomadland winning was all that exciting, but at least it was something. -

No, I think the very serious reason I provided is more likely. -

What a wild end. 3 hours of fairly boring, but rarely embarrassing awards fare. Then: Weird bit with Glenn Close Best Picture: Nomadland Best Actress: Fran “I’ve already won enough of these, you don’t get another speech” McDormand Best Actor: some old guy who went so method with his last movie, he forgot to show up for the Show! -

Giving out Best Picture before Actor/Actress is utterly bizarre. I guess they wanted to end on Boseman’s presumptive win. EDIT: WHICH DIDN’T EVEN HAPPEN WTF -

Promising Young Woman and The Father win for screenplay, Another Round for international feature, Daniel Kaluuya for supporting actor. No real surprises so far. They’re definitely not playing anyone off the stage. Speeches are rambling. -
General Gaming VResident Evil 4 [Oculus Version]
TheLeon replied to Keyser_Soze's topic in The Spawn Point
The Oculus Quest 2 won't be replaced by an upgraded VR headset anytime soon | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM There will eventually be an Oculus Quest Pro with upgraded features, but not this year. Sounds like there will be an updated Quest 2 some time next year, but the next step beyond that might not come for a while. -
Bumping this because I just rewatched Memories of Murder, on the aforementioned Criterion Collection release (it's also available on Hulu). Personally, I have a hard time deciding which is better, it or Parasite. I think I prefer Parasite, mostly it's so much fun, but from an "objective" craft perspective or whatever, I think they're pretty equal.

That part has been covered a couple of times. There were two versions of the original game. Only one released outside of Japan back in the day, and starred a father trying to save his daughter. This release is of the other version, which was previously exclusive to Japan. It features a younger man trying to save his sister as the main character, but is largely the same game as what we got. As for how it compares to Automata, the overall vibe is similar, but the action (based on my hazy memory from playing it 10 years ago) will likely feel like a big step back. Still, I’m looking forward to playing this, once I’m back in a position to play games again.
