I'll contest Dino Crisis. It definitely feels like there's some anticipation for a revival in the air since the RE2make and DMC5 announcements. -

This seems like it might be of similar quality as the games ^_^ -
Most mammals I prefer to avoid eating unless it's via more ethical means (deer or pigs that've been hunted due to harming ecosystems, etc) or I'm just really, really hungry and succumb to poor self-control. Fish is on the table, and I see absolutely nothing unethical about eating free range chickens or turkies from certified farms. Their average lifespan there is double-triple what it would be in the wild so...

yea limiting the amount of policing via changing/updating laws, stuff like basic income, etc seems more likely to happen before de-arming police for sure. -

Ignoring the bola gun stuff specifically... do you think law enforcement reform - including changing standards expected of law enforcers, policing quotas, as well as some laws (like drug prohibition) that lead citizens being negatively impacted - is an achievable goal... something worth working towards? -

Ok but assuming it COULD be possible, how it would ever happen I don't know, but if patrol units were forced to switch out bullet guns for a device like that, would it mostly be a positive, negative, or inconsequential change compared to what currently exists? -

Would you say a device like that is worse than what's already used by riot cops? Also, and to ask a hypothetical, if patrol units were forced to swap actual guns for the bola devices, do you think the outcome would be more positive, less, or roughly the same? -

Interesting development Clearly this is isn't a truly safe device. It's a symptom of the militarization problem departments have and will undoubtedly cause some problems...but it sparked something I've been thinking about for a few days: Let's say most cops (patrol units, etc) were forced to use these batman gadget things instead of actual guns...how much of an improvement over the current system do you think it would be?
