Yeah, that's what I was getting at, he a vengeful spectre who usually collab's with some of the major villains. Tbh MK lore is a pretty big blank spot in my brain. I'm going through MK9 right now as a refresher. I heard he I should probably go ahead and watch it soon lol. -

Isn't Scorpion, like, a demon literally? Is he not an antagonist in this? -

Play this Dreamcast Castlevania game 20+ years after it was canceled
heydude93 replied to Jason's topic in The Spawn Point
It's....ungood. I get why it was cancelled. But neat that a demo was eventually released. Now if we can finally get a port or remaster dreamcast library on modern consoles, that would be something. -

This thread is important. I don't understand why nobody is taking it seriously. FUCK. -
I have to admit I like him as an interviewer depending on the guest. His Chuck Palahniuk interview was one of the best you'll find of that author, Neil Tyson episodes, Alex Jones and more. When he has someone on who knows what they're talking about it can be a good listen sometimes. But yeah, his politics are pretty bad, which is a problem given how much influence he has.

Exactly. -
Short answer: Not so much society as a whole as the more rural areas of it. He's definitely a better podcaster and announcer than an actor tbf To his credit, Shapiro is one of the few conservative guests he actually went in on. I think he does this more than his critics give him credit for. It would be more noticeable if he didn't spend a lot more time platforming them without challenge.

There are plenty of examples of folks raised in families like that stereotype who don't become the stereotype. But the question is, how many of them are also named Cletus? Notice how nobody can disprove that this is a thing that happens. It IS one hundred percent absurd that it's such a consistent thing, but it still frequently happens. Why? Indeed, but sometimes certain names like those mentioned in OP do seem to result in pre-determined paths in life. It makes absolutely NO sense, so why does it happen? -

it's possible, but would some anecdotal examples disprove there's a larger pattern of women named Natasha mostly being hot? And more interestingly, how many pictures will be posted of men named Cletus that don't look like the stereotype? -

All those words, and yet nothing substantial communicated to explain why or disprove that it's a phenomenon that happens. ok. -

It sounds completely idiotic doesn't it? But can you prove there's not a lot of truth to it? That it's not a pattern that happens frequently? If you can't, why not? -
...someone's name can play a role in their destiny? If so, how/why do you think this is? It seems dumb to think so but how often do you encounter someone named Cletus who isn't a Cletus, read a news story about someone with the three part serial killer name (John Harvey Adams, Ron Wayne Darcy, etc) who doesn't match the profile of a psycho, or meet someone named Natasha who isn't hot? Why does this seem like such a pattern sometimes?

If he's not revealed to be Kuai Liang or something and remains a movie-exclusive character it seems like a genuinely baffling creative choice for a movie that seems to put so much effort in making this a definitive adaptation of the source material.
