  1. That laptop is very good, but I’d have to keep money in mind with your situation. I’m assuming it has to be smtn like best buy so you can pick it up as you don’t have an address. I’d suggest maybe https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-tuf-gaming-15-6-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-1tb-hdd-256gb-solid-state-drive/6297095.p?skuId=6297095 - will still be great for 1080p gaming and you save about $600 for other things. Edit: I mean honesty I would just get a cheap productivity laptop and maybe a couple new switch games and save your money for more important things. But whatever helps you get through this, so given that I’d say maybe a 1060 laptop that is a bit cheaper like this.
  2. @legend Depending on settings seems like a 20-25fps boost, and it just looks 4k from my couch position. AI is legit!
  3. How weird! I actually can’t mimick anything to get it to show greyed out for me. You are on the 11/13 drivers AND Windows update 1809?
  4. @Mr.Vic20 It works sir! Are you sure you have res set to 4k? It doesn’t work with any other res. I tried it with everything highest, including the nvidia shit, got a score of 6000 smtn, which is marked as high, since it scores on frame rate, not counting what settings you are using. It was mostly 60 with some dips, mosty high 50’s ones besides one huge battle scene. Nvidia frame killer stuff off tells a different story, delivers the promised mostly 80+ fps, as high as 100, and no dips below 60 the entire time. If they actually would add this to the game itself already I would probably just find out which nvidia frame killer option I need to keep a constant 60fps while keeping the others. The boost over non dlss is huge and looks like 4k to me!
  5. Is Sky early access via invite or smtn? I can’t find it or the that game company on the app store. Their site doesn’t have a button to go dl it either.
  6. Shadow of the tomb raider pc (30) and the Messenger on switch ($14..$8 after using coins). That’s all for me.
  7. You want at least a 6 core for rtx, your current cpu would be completely mistmatched no matter how much you tried to oc, it’s 6 years old and not a good pairing for a 2080ti.
  8. I guess it depends on the person, personally I find the switch perhaps the most comfortable because of it’s length with the joycons seems comfortable to me, it’s a little bit heavier than the switch also. Some might find it more comfortable because it’s not as wide, I’d imagine that would be the difference. Both are comfortable for me tho, not like the cramped 3ds.
  9. idk never played the dlc, but the main game is long enough, especially for a vr game. I very rarely find dlc to be worth it in general.
  10. I can play that entire list in 4k between xbox and pc besides JSRF that is why my list was the best.
  11. For pin cables, you are looking at what is plugging into your current gpu to power it, each little slot is a pin, you probably are using 6 or 8 or something, check if there is a similar cable in your case and if both have 8, then you don’t need to do anything.
  12. As much as I’d like JSRF, just not worth the price of a whole unit for me, so I’ll have to pass.
  13. Random battles after having pokémon our in the world would be such a damn downgrade. Really hope gen8 builds on the things this does better not take them away.
  14. Will need to know: A) What cpu you currently have to see if a more modern cpu would work on your motherboard. My guess is you’ll need a new one. B) What type of ram? If it’s not ddr4 you’ll probably need new ram too 750w should be enough but if you are getting a 2080ti need to know what type and keep in mind 2080ti needs two 8pin connectors if you don’t currently have that.
  15. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-pavilion-gaming-desktop-amd-ryzen-5-series-8gb-memory-amd-radeon-rx-580-1tb-hard-drive-128gb-solid-state-drive-shadow-black-with-a-brushed-hairline-pattern/6280608.p?skuId=6280608 Ill be seeing what deals come out over the next day but it seems most are already shown. It is close enough to his price range, has a ssd for the os which he def wants, and has a pretty decent cpu and gpu for some 1080p gaming. Anything better that I’m missing? Prob would go up to $650.
