This game is legit. Getting new characters if ofc addictive as hell, and online ran smoothly tonight besides niggles having network issues the first match and me taking a poop while in spectator mode which made my switch go to sleep canceling the room.

Na, I only play on tv, hoping those comes out next year and nvidia adds support (lol). But for some reason it didn’t seem to bother me in BF5, could be I was too busy looking at all the pretty and will end up doing a 30fps lock on it for sp.

I somehow avoided hearing the term too much also, had no idea it was considered common. I had to verbalize it in my head to even connect it to its meaning. I can’t recall ever reading it here especially, but maybe it’s just thrown around casually every so often so easily missed.

Just tried it, and yeah not damn at that 4k boost! I was probably averaging around 45 (I have mine ocd tho) in what has been the roughest part in my testing which is the opening of the first war story in autumn. I did notice some dips there from 60 but it was mostly 60 still and the other maps/stories I tried weren’t as demanding so it looks like they hit their mark! I think i might actually play the sp in 4k with rtx on, and be okay with the mid 40’s because my God it’s stunning!

Hoping ubi just does DLSS, I wouldn’t even want to see how rtx would perform lol. But the exciting thing for ubigame is they could actually run at 4k/60 easily with DLSS!

If the FF15 benchmark is standard as to what DLSS will achieve it should be huge as long as new games start supporting it on release next year. It’s not a small gain, it’s like 20-25fps depending on what settings I used.

I’d guess that physx runs so much better on turing than anything amd provides that them allowing amd to run it, thus having them show up in benchmarks against each other, will make nvidia cards look even more ahead.

Which means if Dice had dlss they could probably make it “4k” with rtx! The two really need to be together. Supposedly Tomb Raider has both of that ever happens, so I’m quite curious how that turns out. I think DLSS like in the FF benchmark combined with rtx could be a good sweet spot for this first go around.

I think this one would be especially bad assuming it’s another 3k for a 20% bump thing because you know the 2180ti is what’s gonna make rtx reasonable!

The psvr actually has a full rgb screen which lessens the screen door effect compared to the others. But yes that exists on all devices currently. It sounds like astro bot renders at a really low res on the base system tho, so yeah I’m sure it’s quite noticeable at 900p. On pro it seems quite sharp. I never used my ps4 for media so idk about the other stuff.

The pro does actually add pixels in some games just because they are a higher native on pro, but even if not that the extra AA makes for a much cleaner picture. But yeah, the iq just isn’t the best on any headset yet. As far as ghosting, since never noticed it but I’ve only ever played psvr on the pro. I’m highly skeptical that the cables are causing any issue.

I really don’t get why the option would grey out for you i mean the card should work or not. I did have a bad card, so i returned it, they were great, shipped it out to me first before I returned. Overnight on their dime. Whole process was like a week. I was impressed. I get the error you are saying only if I try to oc too hard. I got it with shadow of tomb raider, I just went down to 1985mhz and it didn’t pop up again.
