  1. I think not being able to see the edges is because of the nose guard, I believe @Rev removed that and used some padding instead to get around that issue
  2. Title: The Case Against "Enough Already": An Exploration of Improper Grammar Introduction Language is a dynamic and ever-evolving system, rich with diverse expressions and structures. However, maintaining proper grammar is crucial for effective communication. The phrase "enough already" has gained popularity in informal conversations, but its usage raises concerns about its conformity to the rules of standard English grammar. In this essay, we will delve into the reasons why "enough already" cannot be considered proper grammar, examining its structural inconsistencies and highlighting the importance of adhering to grammatical conventions in effective communication. Structural Inconsistencies One of the primary reasons why "enough already" fails to meet the standards of proper grammar is its structural inconsistency. In standard English, adjectives typically precede the noun they modify. However, in the phrase "enough already," the word "enough" functions as an adjective modifying an implied noun, which is not explicitly stated. Consequently, the sentence lacks the necessary noun to which "enough" can refer, resulting in an incomplete construction that defies the conventions of proper grammar. Sentence Fragment Another significant issue with "enough already" is that it functions as a sentence fragment, failing to form a complete grammatical unit. A complete sentence should consist of a subject and a predicate, expressing a complete thought. However, "enough already" lacks a subject, as it only contains an adverb ("already") modifying the implied noun. Consequently, the phrase cannot stand alone as a grammatically correct sentence. Absence of Verb A fundamental aspect of proper grammar is the inclusion of a verb to convey action or a state of being. However, "enough already" lacks a verb, further highlighting its grammatical inadequacy. Without a verb, the phrase fails to express any action or convey a complete idea. Consequently, its usage undermines the principles of proper grammar, hindering effective communication. Idiomatic Nature and Informal Usage While the phrase "enough already" may be commonly used in colloquial speech, its idiomatic nature does not excuse its grammatical shortcomings. Idioms are expressions that hold a particular meaning within a given culture or language. They often deviate from standard grammatical rules. While idioms can add color and flair to language, their informal nature makes them unsuitable for formal or written communication where adherence to proper grammar is crucial. Importance of Grammar in Effective Communication Grammar plays a vital role in facilitating clear and precise communication. It establishes a framework for organizing thoughts, ensuring that ideas are conveyed accurately and coherently. Proper grammar enables readers and listeners to interpret information correctly, avoiding misunderstandings or misinterpretations. By adhering to grammatical conventions, individuals can convey their ideas with clarity and eloquence, fostering effective communication in various contexts. Conclusion In conclusion, the phrase "enough already" cannot be considered proper grammar due to its structural inconsistencies, sentence fragment status, absence of a verb, and idiomatic nature. While informal language may have its place in casual conversation, it is crucial to recognize that adhering to proper grammar remains essential for effective communication. By upholding grammatical standards, individuals can ensure that their ideas are conveyed clearly, avoiding confusion and promoting understanding in diverse linguistic environments.
  3. Probably depends on how good or bad any given Final Fantasy is :P Shes been playing them since Final Fantasy 1, it’s mostly the only series she plays.
  4. I will be buying the game though. so don’t worry. But for my Dads (30 year long) girlfriend along with a ps5 because she’s been hinting to my Dad for one in time for this for 3 years.
  5. Seriously though the performance mode is SOFT. I thought there would be a better fps/res here honestly. But everything else looks great and it looks solidly epic and I bet pre-sales go up after this demo overall. But, there’s a shit ton I need to get through this year and this is likely on pc sometime late next year so it’s a good one to wait on I think. I was glad I waited on FF7R I’m sure same here especially if this doesn’t launch busted.
  6. I think motion blur really works for some people to give the illusion of it being smoother but I just hate motion blur so much that it doesn’t work for me
  7. Yeah unless I’m missing something there is no 40hz mode. I just tried 40hz mode in Horizon to make sure my ps5 settings are correct and it works fine there and shows how I would expect (120hz container) unlike FF16 which is in 60hz container.
  8. FF7R works fine if you play in dx11 and add hdr back with special K. But yeah, I think this convinced me to wait for pc. Plenty else to play this year and I don’t want to play this in either of the two modes here. Im certainly not seeing this as being better looking than path traced Cyberpunk, or like, in the same league at all lol. Characters of course look great. But even for console Id still give it to Horizon FW easy. I also don’t think it’s doing 40fps? Looking at the LG overlay it doesn’t look like it and it certainly doesn’t feel like it to me. There is super strong motion blur but it’s not doing the trick for me and I still just want that gone. Pretty sure it’s just 30fps. If there IS a 40hz mode I’m missing can someone let me know anything special you did to activate? If it’s working it should show in 120hz mode in the LG overlay, if it’s 60fps in the overlay then you are getting 30fps.
  9. I left a bunch of side missions open to help make this expansion feel like more of a sequel. Seems like that’s pretty much what we are getting. 2023 is rockin
  10. If its not there just get the rokid max and connect to your laptop instead
  11. AC Jade at least looks like a pretty full real AC game. I should be able to hook up the rokid and a xbox gamepad and be fine if it turns out good.
  12. Main character is a FEMALE? Wokkkkkeeeeeeeeeeee
  13. It is this year damn. I’m definitely going to need to figure out getting 3D working on pc games with the rokid by the time this comes out. Hopefully this will just have native 3D in options though, their Avatar game for the first movie had it!
  14. Honestly the year we have had so far and then Spiderman 2, Starfield, AC Mirage, and Avatar still to come amongst others and I even get a new Sonic game. This year is just missing a Mario game for me to be a 2007 or 2017.
  15. I think the atmosphere of this will actually win me over when I play it, just so stacked right now especially with my 3D retro fetish at the moment.
  16. This doesn’t work for me because I’ll always think to myself when something gets spoiled “no big deal, I’ll just forget about it shortly after” and as soon as I have that thought it cements the spoiler in my head for eternity
  17. I might just get that ubiplay sub going again this fall :P
