  1. Id love this so much especially if I could rebuy the game in two years with post game dlc but resume off my ps5 save. I’ll buy the game twice but it would be cool to at least get that
  2. I think @gamer.tv is on to something. It goes up and down now but it hasn’t changed significantly over the last year or two that I can see. I like the group we have now.
  3. Loved what played in the demo and knew this would be good, but I’m surprised to see ANY fighting game get these reviews. I’m all in on this and will probably just get all new characters as they come out this round.
  4. Ascend is such a huge part of my enjoyment of this game. I didn’t like climbing in the first one and this is such a strange way of fixing that. Finding good vertical paths feels so nice.
  5. Yeah, I saw X last year and I’ve been waiting for this to appear somewhere. I liked them both but I like this one a bit better, though it wouldn’t be as good without having seen X first either. And yes definitely excited to see this series hit the 80s!
  6. This is finally finally included on a streaming service (Showtime) and I liked it a lot.
  7. I just want to say please check out decky/vibrant deck if you haven’t already. I rebooted and it didn’t load and man it’s like the life is sucked out of the image until I put it back on. I always felt saturation was too low before and now the default just looks wrong. I find it so much better with saturation like +50 on my unit.
  8. Lol ok it really is. But! The only thing this kind of teaser could tell us is if it looks good and runs well. And it looks good and runs well. So considering, that’s nice. I’m definitely interested in seeing more and I feel they did a pretty good job replicating the how the original atmosphere felt, if a bit less cartoony.
  9. And the final number is 50 so right on the money! Let me know what it’ll be! That’ll wrap up this one, seems like mid range numbers were the way to go
  10. Lol I am having fun with Zelda it’s just there are parts in between the fun that aren’t so fun when I’m dying over and over. I think I’ll get past the hurdle. I love the sense of discovery and exploration in it. I plan to play both though and Zelda has no technical issue for me atm so it makes sense to just wait for a patch. I’ll see how this week goes if there is a patch or maybe it doesn’t crash on the 4090 laptop version so I can try that Thursday. I would like to make this my main tv game with Zelda being my in bed while watching tv game so if nothing works by this weekend still yeah I might just turn off RT for Jedha finally. I already had one thing spoiled I didn’t want to be.
  11. If you run the pics in reverse image look up you can find more pics and her socials and then you can use her recent pictures to zero in on her location and I know of a good bench near her house
  12. If you are playing on pc and aren’t seeing “auto hdr” even though you renamed to Cemu when you start the game make sure to set “Prefer layered on dxgi swap chain” for cemu in Nvidia control panel. I got this working right yesterday and it really helps with the look of the lighting in general.
  13. It’s not unplayable of course but I’d say this long after launch to still consistently crash on 4000 series cards with ray tracing for an entire planet is a pretty big blunder. I’m still kinda hoping they fix it but I will just move forward with it either way when I’m done with Zelda
  14. I definitely was in a place there like I am here at one point but eventually found a groove. Which is why I’m not giving up!
  15. I’m trying to it’s just everything keeps killing me :P
  16. Yeah I see the boxes but it seems about my journey I’m always low. I need a lot because of the one shotting. The game might get easier, I freakin hope so, but so far the tutorial section on the sky island was the only time where I could take a hit or two it’s been nothing but one shotters since. Also just as a note in general, I feel like you can have a difficulty in games without relying on one shotting. That’s the most frustrating way to do difficulty because it makes the person wait on reloads over and over wasting countless time instead of being able to use that time to figure out how to pass the challenge.
  17. Also wish I had more arrow pickups, Im always out of arrows
  18. There are moments where I really like the game. I was quite into it at the start, but I’m at probably (hopefully) a low point of the journey. That point where the challenge has moved up considerably and I need to learn how to scale myself up to it. I think where I’m at with TOTK might be like the uncanny valley of open game design for me. It’s like I find the combat difficult and/or not fun because every encounter is stacked so the enemy’s have very few disadvantages. Everything is fast and can hit you from far away and will sneak up on you and won’t react much to such and such options. In the end, trying to actually heavy hand you into choosing the one option it actually wants you to use. I think that may be the thing it’s best at so far, tricking you into thinking you chose this creative option thinking the game is so open when it’s just shutting off enough options to lead you towards that one. Which is probably why I keep reading people gushing about some unique solution to a puzzle and then all the responses are saying they did the same thing. Not that you can’t get super creative with its tools but it requires a lot of trial and error and the swiftness of death makes me want to engage with it less. Like just now I’m trying to clear out this camp and I’m running all around trying to stay away from the one hitters using the environment and powers and tools and whatever. Things are going haywire, it’s responding well with explosions and the enemy’s dying. But also it’s taking awhile and I kinda want to just kill shit. As soon as make that choice to engage and actually just fight one of the enemy’s and hit them with a weapon he hits me from half a screen a way with his staff and that’s it start all over again. That sorta thing keeps happening and right I’m just waiting for the scale to tip more in my favor so it’s fun again. Im only being extra critical because I think it could still be so good and I’m giving it an honest shot after not being impressed with BOTW, but I’m gonna bitch until I get some more power on my side.
  19. I think it’s a game that by nature is going to offer a wide swath of experiences and also one that people are going to mostly want to relate to similar experiences during the honeymoon period.
  20. I think TOTK is going to be a hard game to try to talk about for a year or so :P
  21. I’ll break that tie and vote for Elden Ring so far. I haven’t found a way to have fun with the TOTK combat yet. I feel like it’s been 10 hours or so since I’ve had a fun fight. Seems like the best way is to just try to run past everything where I’m at now. Every time I move past some hit sponge enemy that can kill me with one hit with a huge 7ft reach or just a damn arrow out of nowhere the next enemy is the exact same thing. Totk so far feels like every enemy is that knight on the horse you run into at the start of Elden Ring and you never level up.
  22. I actually always read it as “link to the past” and ascribe the same meaning to it since it still works and that usage was here first.
