  1. I've made a couple levels. I'll post them when I get home tonight. One is just a basic platforming level I made to test the tools since I never played SMM1. The second is more fun.
  2. I have a 3 year old niece. She's too young for the theater for this IMO, but I guarantee in a couple years this is going to be on repeat constantly at my house and I'm going to have Hakuna Matata ear-wormed into my head for the rest of my days. This movie is going to make ridiculous amounts of money.
  3. I was happy to see an actual No More Heroes 3.
  4. This is why I almost exclusively play limited formats. Booster draft, sealed deck, etc. It still scratches that deck-building itch, adds a layer of strategy with the drafting, and everyone is on a level playing field money-wise. Sweet! We should do a gaming space thread...
  5. Mario Maker 2 MHW: Iceborne expansion Fire Emblem: Three Houses Death Stranding Bloodstained Borderlands 3
  6. I'm interested if it works well. I have a nice PC gaming rig setup at home. But if I can also play competent versions of my PC games with little to no input lag on my Chromebook or something when I'm away from home? I'll do that. I'd probably never do anything competitive on such a service, but I have plenty of adventure and RPG games I'm working through in my PC library that I'd be happy to play lower fidelity versions of on the road.
  7. I hope it's successful. Big cons in more areas of the country are a good thing. Not everyone can get to Indianapolis or Philly, for GenCon or PAXU. Hopefully this one gets good attendance and they keep it going for years.
  8. Looking at the list reminds me that I still haven't bought FFIX on Switch. Will fix that today.
  9. Keyforge is an interesting one. I bought a couple decks to learn it with my son. It was fun, but then I realized I'm probably not the target market because I like deck building too much. I'm not sure why anyone would buy more than one deck of this. So...fun game. But I just plan on tossing my one deck in my con bag and keeping it handy in case I run into someone that happens to want to play. There's no incentive for me to keep buying, which feels odd for a collectible game.
  10. @Remarkableriots How did it play? I haven't played any new games in awhile. I've been on a D&D kick (we should start a D&D thread...). I have two regular bi-weekly games, one I'm a player and one I'm DM. Last non pen and paper RPG I played was a couple weeks ago when me and a pal played a few rounds of High Heavens. It's a 2 player asymmetric strategy game where each players takes the role of a pantheon of gods, either Greek or Norse and compete to either kill all of the other teams' gods or destroy their home base (Asgard or Mt. Olympus). Pretty fun! The minis are low quality, but good looking. The game comes with these stacking rings to make damage tracking easy. Overall a nice product. My only complaint is that I wish the plastic for the minis was higher quality.
  11. Hey guys, I think I've nailed it. People. The problem is people.
  12. Well, there's no power while you're doing it I assume (pop the battery). And just air-can the shit out of that bad boy when you're done. :P But yeah if you're not comfortable doing it then don't.
  13. Do you have a Dremel tool or something similar? You can always just carefully cut a horizontal line across the top of the screw then use a flat-head screwdriver to take it out.
  14. If the head is stripped you can lay a rubber band over the head then press the screwdriver "through" the rubber band into the screw. The rubber band should conform to the stripped inside of the screw-head and give you enough tension/friction to let you unscrew, or at least loosen it.
  15. I've always used a rubber band or like a folded bit of paper towel for that sort of thing and its always worked. Yours must really be in there.
  16. I'm interested in Nintendo's Direct and...that's about it? Video game media coverage is so readily available now that I don't really feel the excitement that E3 used to bring anymore because, well..we get new information like every day. Things are announced constantly. I don't need impressions or game-play vids to help me make buying decisions. Even new console/hardware announcements don't get me jazzed anymore. It's not like they could say something that's gonna make me not buy the next PSBoxSwitch or whatever. There's no "console war" anymore; at least not like it was. The state of video game media means we have 24/7 coverage of the industry. Remove "..at E3" from any announcement, impression, game-play, or interview article over the next month and what's the difference? I mean, I'll read some articles that come out of the show. And I'm sure there will be some stuff announced that I'll be interested in. But I just don't feel the need to see it as it's happening anymore. It's no longer "appointment Internet" for me.
  17. Damnit, I still haven't taken the cellophane of Nioh 1. Edit: I meant "off"! :P
