  1. I figured I was fine making mine, because there probably is at least a 70% chance I'm right. edit: Or maybe 65%?
  2. The best part of making bold predictions is only having to wait 2 weeks or less to find out you're wrong.
  3. The last season was so absolutely horrible, that it negated all of the great stuff it did in the early seasons.
  4. I guess I'm seeing something different in that video. Cop arrives and person is standing in middle of the street. He quickly starts raving, acting erratically and talking in a way that makes no sense. It sure looks he is having paranoid delusions -- perhaps even hallucinations and looks like a heck of a lot like a meth/coke driven psychotic episode. Maybe one of the medical people here could tell me that those come across as way different -- but that's not how any 'concussed' person I've dealt with acts. He runs out into traffic again, and seems to shrug off a police taser like its nothing. And keeps resisting/raving while on the ground. What how are cops supposed to deal with someone, when tasers initially have little effect?
  5. Lol. My son and father were having an argument last night over whether game was over at 27-0 (son said it wasn’t, ‘cause he is a Raiders fan and watched this season). We left at halftime. Gonna have to get him to call his gramps.
  6. My quality of life was higher in suburban Detroit than it is in suburban Toronto. Higher wages, lower taxes, significantly cheaper housing, better schools and much lower cost of living.
  7. If you had to live with them, along with the changing exchange rate, it would probably be worse.
  8. Thanks. I think it may be hard to justify the price increase over a TUF board (or a Z690 STRIX), but keeping the options open for OC, PCIe v5.0 NVMe drives is making me lean in the direction of overspending.
  9. Wild Card Feature Game Los Angeles Chargers $5,000 QUESTIONS 1) Chargers TD 2) Tied 3) Giants/Vikings 4) Ravens/Bengals 5) Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals

But I'm not 100% sure that I really need a STRIX.
  11. Managed to snag an ASUS TUF 4080 for $30 under the price of a 4080 FE. Was planning on a 4070Ti, but....
  12. My local Canada Computers has a Corsair iCue H150i AIO (refurbished) for $130. The new version comes with the AIO, 3 RGB case fans and their RGB/fan controller -- if it's as advertised, that will be hard to pass up. I'm going to check it out after work.
  13. They have 4 series of regular-sized PSUs (in order of the ranking on their website) CX (Bronze), RM (Gold), HX (Platinum), AX (Titanium). ATM, I am planning on buying a Corsair RM1000x for my build.
  14. It's on sale at the moment. It's a quality PSU -- it's there middle of the range PSU -- you CAN spend more, but probably don't need to. Not sure where you are, but you can also order directly from Corsair. If you want to step up to 1000W, it's also on sale for $240.
  15. YouTube cares about selling ads to advertisers, they don't care about "controversial content" per se. They only really care if advertisers do. I thought that creators had very few restrictions if they didn't care about being demonetized.
  16. YouTube creators are the whiniest bunch of folks ever -- particularly the smaller channels. YouTube is, reportedly, still not profitable for anyone but the creators. YouTube is trying to sell ads, largely to big corporations -- who typically don't want to be associated with controversial content. If you want $$$ from big corporations, sometimes you have to make some compromises to your vision -- even if it isn't dropping the f-bomb every 2 seconds.
  17. You can get a cheap 850W Corsair for $160. I haven't seen any name brand 1000W PSUs for a decent price in Canada in my recent searches. I wouldn't bother waiting for the ATX3.0 PSUs, they don't seem to be readily available, and there is very limited information on when they will be. I suspect they will be priced at a big premium as well.
