  1. My only issue with Origin is that for things like Dead Space/Jedi Survivor, I would really prefer a Steam Key rather than an Origin/EA App for easier use on Steam Deck.
  2. Star Wars Jedi Survivor system requirements and recommended PC specs | PCGamesN WWW.PCGAMESN.COM The Star Wars Jedi Survivor minimum specs demand 130GB of storage from your gaming PC in addition to an above average Nvidia GeForce graphics card. Here are the Star Wars Jedi Survivor system requirements: Minimum Recommended OS Windows 10 64-bit Windows 10 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 7700 AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Intel Core i5 11600K AMD Ryzen 5 5600X RAM 8GB 16GB GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 AMD Radeon RX 580 Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT VRAM 8GB 8GB Storage 130GB 130GB
  3. Almost no one REALLY thinks that what Microsoft is doing is bad. Almost no one REALLY takes news network pundits seriously. Twitter is not real life. CNN/Fox News/CBC Power & Politics are not real life.
  4. There are a couple (Dead Space has a Sata SSD as a minimum req, NVMe as recommended), but your point is 100% valid nevertheless.
  5. Those headlines are how they get the clicks. We get complaints from folks whenever games start being targeted at "next gen" consoles. I think we are there this year. I wonder what will happen when games start requiring DirectStorage steaming and PCIe4 NVMe drives....
  6. DF Direct Weekly: are PC minimum specs out of control? WWW.EUROGAMER.NET Or is it time to bid farewell to classic PC graphics hardware?
  7. Probably closer to 1.5 on average in 2023. Anyways, the game is in Philly, and a 60% chance of winning isn't a pick'em.
  8. If you look at some of the ELO models, Eagles are 2.5 point favourites (which is same as Vegas)-- which gives them a 60% chance of winning -- i.e. it is 50% more likely the Eagles will win than the 49ers. Same method had them as 9-point favourites (~80% win rate) vs. the Giants. 2.5 points is not a "pick'em" scenario.
  9. Looks like a worthy successor in the same vein as the first 3 movies (I only saw the first, but that was enough).
  10. GTAV -- not sure why I am soldiering on, but I am determined to finish it.
  11. Thoughts (my last build was in '16 and was a 6700k and GTX-1070) 1) Current cases really make the build process and cable management so much easier 2) This was my first build not having to run storage off mother board. RIP SATA. It makes everything so much cleaner. 3) RGB fans have far too many cables. 4) Still haven't found a good place to get a Windows key for a price I feel comfortable with. 27 Euro plus 5 Euro in fees feels too pricey for an OEM key. 5) Only external driver I have had to install so far is GeForce Experience. I hope I haven't missed anything. (I didn't install Asus Armoury Crate.) 6) Vertical GPU mounting is the future. On using my rig: 1) Gaming on an Ultrawide Monitor is so much more immersive than a 16:9. Glad I made the decision. 2) No regrets on OLED 3) First rig with no bloatware. Very clean. 4) Amazing how quiet gaming was. (7 case fans seems to allow for really low fan speed.)
  12. Technically, it is really impressive. The CGI is the best I've seen, and there are lots of "wow, that is visually stunning" moments. It will hit a lot harder on the big screen. (I saw it in Imax 3D.)
  13. Everyone in my extended family saw it (the ones who go to theatres, at least). The theatre was 80% full when I went (for a matinee, several weeks after release).
  14. They also lost to the Broncos, Bears and Falcons. As a Raiders fan, I have to downplay everything the 49ers do as well.
  15. 49ers gave up 34-points to a QB who managed 13-points with a 76 passer rating and 31 QBR the next week against the Chiefs defence (who are VERY average). If you think that game was the "game of his life" for Davante Adams, you haven't watched him play very often.
  16. NPDs are anachronistic at this point -- particularly for the "family zone". It completely excludes FTP (Roblox, Rocket League, Fortnite, etc.) and tablet/mobile gaming which are both extremely popular in the "family" space.
  17. I'm skeptical of the 49ers because of how the Raider's Jarrett Stidham carved up their defence in week 17. If you needed OT to beat the Raiders this year... I'm really surprised the Eagles are only 3-point favourites.
