  1. It's not just his injury history. He has 6-yers in as a RB -- there are very few rushers who continue to deliver at a high level after that many years in the league. If you're giving up that many picks, he needs to be productive at a very high level for several years. If you're a top-5 team, and MCCafferey is bringing you over the top for a SB -- it would probably be worth it. I personally don't see the 49ers in that class of team -- they have a puncher's chance as a playoff team, but probably not more.
  2. I don't get trading that much for McCaffrey. He's barely played the last two seasons due to injury, he's a running back, he's getting paid like he is elite, and it's not like he has been lighting the world on fire this season....

  5. What 2 new studies reveal about long COVID in Canada | CBC News WWW.CBC.CA Two new large-scale reports, one published by Statistics Canada and the other in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, are giving a clearer picture of the long-term impacts of COVID-19 infections on Canadians and the health-care system.
  6. Episode 115: A New Phase | CIDRAP WWW.CIDRAP.UMN.EDU In "A New Phase," Dr. Osterholm and Chris Dall discuss the many new subvariants that are competing with BA.5, the Ebola outbreak in Uganda, and the challenges that will come with the next phase of the pandemic. Email us your questions: OsterholmUpdate@umn.edu Lynn's beautiful place: https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/lynns-beautiful-place Donate to support this podcast: https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/donate... TLDR 1) Wave appears to be happening in Europe (but, not yet elsewhere -- perhaps in Singapore/Bangladesh as well). BA.5 seems to still be dominant variant in most countries (although other variants are showing signs of outcompeting BA.5 in some areas). 2) There are ~4 variants that are being looked at (primarily descendants of BA.2 and BA.5). They seem to have additional immune evasion characteristics. 3) US deaths this year are primarily in unvaccinated older people. 88% of deaths are 65+, death rates are highest in indigenous/black communities and lowest in white/Asian ones, and higher among Republicans. 4) Waning immunity is something he is concerned about.

  8. Suggesting that we kill children with parental consent is outrageous. Children are incapable of giving consent to end their lives. Their suggestion was not to limit it to children with terminal diseases. Certainly a much more poignant issue than the metadata an intern setup to post youtube videos 5 years ago.
  9. Been playing the Messenger, but now into Slay the Spire. Both great on Deck.
  10. Lots of reviewers were suggesting that DLSS 3 still needs optimization. Lots of crashes. it will probably take a couple of months to have all the answers on latency across multiple titles.
