  1. How has the "better" messaging worked for MS since? Their biggest franchises are mostly irrelevant (Gears, Halo, Fable, Forza Motorsport) and haven't been replaced by new ones. They're a distant third in console sales. And a bunch of us have exited the Xbox ecosystem, and now only buy their stuff on Steam.
  2. Booted this up quickly to see what it looked like. From blocks you from using UltraWide monitors. If you use mods to use them, From will ban you. I don't get it.
  3. AMD was able to get prototypes to Sony/MS for dev units and product design to support a simultaneous launch. If Nintendo wanted the X2 for a console launch 5-months after the chip launched, I am sure Nvidia would have been able to support.
  4. Didn't Xbox SeX/SeS and PS5 launch simultaneously with RDNA2?
  5. Just looked back at Wikipedia, and it suggests that Switch was using a Tegra X1 -- which was released in Q2 2015.
  6. My recollection was that when Switch released, it had a 1-generation old Tegra chip.
  7. The only problem I had was with GTAV -- because the save is with Rockstar. It seems to only sync when you boot up the game, not when you exit. Otherwise, the Steam Deck has been a god send for me when I am on the road.
  8. You did nothing to help my understanding of why a game that plays so poorly sold so well.
  9. I never asked a question. I said that after playing the game, I couldn't understand why the game was so popular for so long.
  10. That doesn't make the driving, flying of helicopters, controls and combat any more fun does it?
  11. What makes GTA Online play better than the single player game?
  12. It was in a video 2 weeks ago. Building a PC has had my feed filled with PC Building videos.
  13. Someone has been watching Linus Tech Tips.
  14. Finished GTAV last week (for the first time). I really don't understand how that game was so popular for so long. Playing Control now -- VERY pretty game. I'm a little iffy on the combat so far -- but as I'm still opening up powers, there is still a long way to go.
  15. @stepee is never satisfied with "sufficient".
  16. The Corsair H150i Elite Cappellix (the 360)-- partially because it was available to buy locally, and partially because they had a factory refurb for less than half the price of a new one. The rads and pumps are pretty standard, so the difference between brands comes down to aesthetic choices (both looks, and RGB controls). Having the thermal paste pre-applied, makes the install really easy relative to a huge fan (where you need to apply the paste, and then try and squeeze around the fins to tighten it down).
  17. I put an AIO in my current build, and I found it significantly easier to install to the MB than the large CPU fan I put in my last build (6 years ago). A new AIO is also similar in price to buying a Huge CPU Fan+RGB controller+3 RGB case fans.
  18. Florida rejected AP African American Studies. Here's what's actually being taught in the course WWW.MSN.COM Some topics rejected by Gov. Ron DeSantis and other Florida officials are not included in the current version of the AP African American studies course.
  19. VRS can now been disabled on the PC version according to John Linneman (I assume this is why their promised Dead Space PC videos have been delayed) -- they claim image quality has been dramatically improved.
  20. Forspoken PC tested: a confusing, deeply disappointing port WWW.EUROGAMER.NET Alex Battaglia takes on the PC port of Forspoken, which is unfortunately rife with issues that hamper a sometimes enjoyable game with fast loading times.
  21. The last "hugely successful" Halo game was more than 15 years ago -- and it has been on a downward spiral since. Given the development team that made that game has gone on to bigger and better things (i.e. Destiny), is there any reason to believe 343 should continue with Halo? Or try and create something new?
