  1. I dont follow the actual people behind develoment, but Irving joined 8 years ago, so basically had a hand in the last year of ME3, Inquisition, SWTOR, Andromeda?, and Anthem. Not sure what else they put out in that time. With all the news of the projects mismanagement, I can't say him leaving should be looked at as a bad thing. May be a good thing to clean house and let some new people take the reigns to give it a fresh set of eyes.
  2. I actually jumped back in for the update. It's not great by any means, but if they could continue to add updates like this over time, and rework the entire loot system like they claimed they were doing a little after launch, they could still have something. But its EA so doubt they'll have much more rope to play with.
  3. The first boss won’t be the same for everyone. The mini bosses seem to be a variant of a regular enemy with an extra attack. I managed to kill Shroud earlier solo he wasn't too bad. The mini boss last night with ARZ seemed much tougher. Just best the part that seems to come from a Game of Thrones reference. Had to completely change my loadout and items to pull it off.
  4. It's def tougher solo it seems, just due to the sheer amount of adds they throw at you during fights. It's hard to track everything, and enemies randomly spawn around, so its easy to get overrun quick. That being said, I'm sure its possible.
  5. Whats everyone playing on, I'd pick this up for PC if there's a few of you on there I can join up with as well.
  6. So last night I joined ARZ and was in his world, and it felt relatively easy to get through up until the boss. I just started up again on my own world. I'm not sure if it scaled up already cause I leveled up, or because I upgraded my weapons, but I've run into 2 new enemy types, 1 that has been wrecking me. Also a new mini boss I ran into as well. I love the difficulty, I think it's gonna require a lot of leveling up gear to be able to complete areas. Also def need some co-op cause its so easy to get overrun by all the little adds. Anyone interested in checking it out and asking any questions. https://mixer.com/JPDunks4 The mini boss/boss this time is not the same as last night.
  7. I’m really enjoying it. Played with ARZ to the first mini boss and died twice. Not easy. You don’t respawn with the consumables you used, so use those wisely. Im really looking forward to digging into this farther, I have it on Xbox but may double dip as I could see it playing real nice on PC. The random generation also hit me quick as I played for a bit then joined @ARZand the area was drastically different. I also think the area keeps the same layout until you manually reroll it. The fact it’ll randomly generated different areas will keep the replay value pretty high.
  8. It took Twitch 2 hours to pull down the porn being broadcast as Fortnite. The number one Fortnite stream for 2 hours.
  9. I stream occasionally for fun, but not really. I do know most of the basics though with Streamlabs OBS or regular OBS. If you can link your stream on here, I will try to stop in sometime to help out. Can you go live at all, or does it stop you from going live?
  10. Saw some Twitter chatter about Take 2 sending Private Investigators to Youtubers homes regarding BL3 leaks? Guess its regarding this. https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/08/07/take-two-addresses-investigation-into-borderlands-3-streamer-leaks?sf106794058=1
  11. Subs are Free for the first 2 months for everyone, so that really doesnt mean a whole lot. He has more Subs than Followers at this point, because right when you get on Mixer it directs you to claim a Free Sub.
  12. I know some streamers that get media badges for E3. Didn’t one of our own posters go this year from his podcast? Not sure if any were affected or listed. This is really totally fucked with how out there gamers can be.
  13. What examples of Microsoft's 1st Party games are there that haven't been Play Anywhere since they initially rolled it out?
  14. I remember when the discussion around the Raid was brought up, it was said that PC was probably by far the largest market and bigger than the console market. Granted those numbers cover all Ubisoft titles, it still looks like Console at 49% vs PC at 34%, console is still their biggest market. Now with the Just Dance titles and some of their other offerings maybe being far larger on consoles than PC, maybe a game like The Division is a more even 50/50 split.
  15. I hate games that require me to use a damn disconnected joycon. I've never really used my Switch undocked. It's been docked 24/7 for the 2/3 years I've had it, however old it is. This aint for me. I do think it definitely should have an hdmi out, that can't be hard or expensive to do.
  16. What are MS, Sony, and Nintendo’s cut on sales on their consoles? Is it 70/30?
  17. Major Publishers reinvesting the extra split into development, probably not. But if smaller studios are getting additional revenue, I'd fully expect it to help them grow and expand projects. 18% is a significant amount. The main issue really still is, does the loss of sales of not being on Steam initially justify the extra 12% cut from being exclusive on Epic.
  18. This I can agree with, and I can imagine it is scary to dive into these categories. Many said Lawbreakers was actually a really good game, but it crashed and burned quick. Was it Cliffy B? Was it their launch strategy (wasn't it initially sold as it was going to be a F2P then they ended up charging for it?). It's definitely a hit or miss type of market.
  19. Again though, having played Apex a lot, and understanding how much it blew up initially, a huge drop off doesn't really mean anything. Without knowing their numbers, lets say they made 300 million in Apex Coins sales for people to buy Apex Packs when the game first hit. If that dropped off 75%, they still could be making 75 million a month. Now these are obviously just random numbers, but with how HUGE it was initially, people eager to spend huge when it first dropped, seeing the numbers drop isn't a surprise. Fortnite and PUBG both didnt blow up like this Day 1. Fortnite took 6+ months to truly blow up, and PUBG grew overtime cause it was largely the first hugely popular BR. After you buy up a ton of packs and get a huge array of skins, most aren't gonna keep buying them without new skins being added. Overwatch has the same exact approach to skins, but they do seasonal skins for the Holidays, which in turns gets people to buy packs to try to unlock those limited time skins. Now Apex does suck with its monetization, but that's probably because they didn't have the team for it, they wanted to get the game out and see its success, and it's also probably the easiest thing ever to solve. Hire peoples who's jobs are to design skins, emotes, cosmetics. They already started to show that in the past month at E3. They are also adding other cosmetic categories, just like Fortnite has been doing. Apex launched a great game, had huge initial success with it, but clearly didn't have the back end hired to support a game that huge. That's pretty easy to fix for now that they have the base game and gameplay down.
