  1. Funny thing is, 200-250k of those people are sitting in the lobby watching a Server Capacity Message cycle.
  2. Didn't even bother really trying today. Hopefully whatever patch is tomorrow is a bit better.
  3. The dumb thing is it's not set up as a que, so it's not first come first serve. @ARZARZwas trying for like 2 hours and I got in after like 15 minutes. I joined a few higher level friends earlier today and did some Suicidal Difficulty Missions. I was lvl 16. It was a lot of fun, just non stop action and explosions everywhere.
  4. There are no clear items with better stats as well. All armors have positives and negatives. No gun is outright better at everything, all have strengths and weaknesses. So even if there are some armors you can spend real money on, they aren't "better" than any other armors, just different perks. And none of the perks are unique, you can earn that same gear quickly in game.
  5. Me and Skillz played like 6 missions, only saw rewards for 2. But then when I logged out and came back on later they were all there. I think the rewards are just so backed up, that it takes a few hours to actually get them. Also if you buy modules and upgrades, it may take some time to actually receive them.
  6. Actually kind of surprised Sony isnt' willing to let Insomniac work on original IP's that Sony would outright own, rather than making them a Marvel studio. But they have sold gangbusters so can't really blame them either.
  7. From Gunfire Games Twitter Seeing some confusion about the Gamepass version of Remnant II. Quick facts: - Cloud saves between Windows Store(Gamepass)/Xbox work. - Purchases between Xbox and Windows Store Version are shared, purchase DLC on one, works on both - Crossplay between Windows Store and Xbox works
  8. Well I've never bought either game on Windows PC and it says I own both. I saw some people on Twitter saying they had cross save between their xbox save and the new PC install. I can test it later.
  9. Both games supports Play Anywhere, so if you own it on Xbox, you own it on PC now too. Nice little addition, with cross saves as well.
  10. There were rumors at the time Bungie was in talks with Microsoft first, but MS walked away as they felt the price was too high. Jim Ryan did say he felt he'd get more value out of Bungie at 3.5 billion than MS will out of the 70 billion Activision deal. Still could be the case if Marathon is a hom run, and who knows if MS actually capitalizes on all the Activision IP they got.
  11. I don't really consider that because it was a little side project by Ninja Theory that they wanted to try. By all accounts it wasn't Microsoft forcing them to make a GaaS and putting the entire studio on it. From most reports at the time it was like a small team of 10 or so people working on that. Grounded could almost be seen in the same way, thought it has no MTX , and has been rather successful. A small side passion project for Obsidian that MS let them explore.
  12. oh ya Rocksteady with Suicide Squad's initial previews looked rather bad and a waste of a great studio's potential was the one I was thinking of.
  13. Definitely doesnt help when you look at other studios known for good single player experiences that were forced to do GaaS by their Publishers, they haven't turned out great. Bioware and Athem Crystal Dynamics and Avengers Bethesda and Fallout 76 (Maybe turned around a bit but still took a hit) Arkane's Redfall seemed to be misguided from the start being built as a GaaS Pretty sure im missing another big one I can't think of
  14. Deviation games was working on a GaaS for PS too, but I think that was also cancelled earlier this year. Guerilla is making that Monster Hunter type GaaS in the Horizon Universe if the leak and rumors are true. I say bring them on I find those more interesting than their regular releases. TLoU Factions was one of my more anticipated games, hope it's not completely dead.
  15. Biggest issue with trying to monetize something like what this game seemed to be like, is its too "realistic" a setting to create enough cosmetics to sell. The Division had similar issues. What do you sell for skins, different color backpacks, boots, gloves, helmets? If its a dark gritty world of TLoU you can't really do crazy colorful whacky skins, because it'd kill the tone of the game. Call of Duty was keeping things somewhat serious at the beginning, and now they just put "Groot", Nicki Minaj, The Boys Characters, Animals, ect in the game. I just can't think of what they sell as cosmetics that would really be interesting enough long term without tainting the franchise.
  16. I've played both, but I've always preferred Bethesda games with m/kb just because you have to aim at every little object to pick them up and see what they are, and its just way easier to me with mouse. I did use controller on Xbox a little and it seeemd to play fine that way as well. Just a preference thing.
  17. I can understand some of the nit picks. My biggest issue are the maps on the planets/cities, and no land vehicles. They ask you to travel relatively far at times on planet, and seems allowing some form of vehicle would have been a cool addition, espeically if you could customize it a bit like the Ships. Maybe it'll come in the future. Other than that I adore the game so far. I love big sandbox style games that give you the freedom to make your own stories and craft your own experiences. And thus far this game is just really delivering. Exploring the cities has been a lot of fun as I've into some charactrs that have given me some reall fun side quests that could have easily been missed. Also randomly traveled to some star systems, and picked up an SoS call that pulled me into another side mission that turned out to be fun that I couldve easily never experienced. I'm probably 10-15 hours in, Lvl 9 or 10, but its just been exactly what I'd expect. I feel like people knocking it for not being a No Mans Sky game level of exploration in terms of flying around space and landing on planets are creating some new requirement for a game that they dont do for others. Every game has tons of limitations, they need to. Just because its a space game doesnt mean it has to do everything every other space game ever made has done. It's a Bethesda game set in space, and thsu far, I think they've pulled it off pretty well.
