Stop demonizing Trump supporters.
cusideabelincoln replied to Fizzzzle's topic in The Political Re-Education Camp
Fizzle's sentiment is being acknowledged in the mainstream. My Midwestern-populated friend's list just shared this article: The man and the record WWW.TOLEDOBLADE.COM “He’s unpresidential.” “He’s crude and unkind.” “He’s just not a good man.” Read more Blade editorials These things, and much worse, are commonly said ... Rural white "rednecks" don't care that Trump is abrasive or has (directly) caused harm to others. They, like the man they support, only really care about what can be done for them. That's all that matters. There is no, or very limited, scope to think about the common good. And in my area most people are doing just fine, financially, yet they still only care about getting just a little bit more--the capitalistic dream. As @legend lamented earlier, brainstorming a way to fix these issues is extremely difficult. Because everything is intertwined at the systemic level--the root being capitalism of course. We would have to change our outlook on the world. Even though we have the resources to ensure everyone can live a decent life, we are stuck in the competitive mode of limited supply. -
There will absolutely be human-derived chaos as the current resource infrastructure (land, housing, food supply) sees sudden and major shifts. Large numbers of people will be forced to change their way of life. The competition to survive will be fierce, because so far we (the human population) have shown an unwillingness to cooperate when it comes to property ownership. Setting the tone also shows we're acting in good faith to the rest of the world.

Illegal aliens will abolish Fox News. Uprising! -
This is the stupidest take. Political affiliation of the people in charge of these cities has nothing to do with riots. On top of that, the vast majority of large cities are run by Democrats by nature, but the few big Republican-ran cities aren't immune to riots either. I'm not going through the whole list, but the two Republican-Mayor cities (San Diego and Jacksonville) in the US's top 10 largest have had riots.

Man this show just is a pleasure to look at, on top of just being nice relaxing entertainment. And really you don't want to think about this too much, as for example the first thought that comes to my mind is why is he killing so many animals man? The mudhorn and now this Krayt dragon are probably rare/endangered species, and neither have been overly aggressive onto people. Not to mention each tribe probably lost more people fighting the dragon than if they just avoided it through use of some early warning system - as the damn beast isn't very stealthy.

Well I'll reiterate, even though it looks like you've already made up your mind, that you should contribute. And don't take the lack of proper debate personally; people will argue right over each other's heads, although maybe it has been happening more often here than it used to. Either way, there are lurkers like you have been that would get value out of your theoretically thoughtful posts, so keep 'em coming*. I hope you take the advice from the several people offering it; I never realized so many are/have been on medications or counseling. It's encouraging to hear people need help, as I am one to not really want or ask for help. But I understand what you're going through as I went through an event that broke me 10 years ago, and I've been stumbling through my life since then. I had some really down moments, and then I've recovered, and small bumps and highs since, but these last 2 years have kicked my ass for some reason. I keep waiting to power through it, but I'm close to my breaking point and I think I need medication because I just don't physically feel right anymore. But we got this buddy! Four years is too long for you to feel broken. I personally wouldn't categorize your take on this election as doom and gloom my good sir; that should not be something you need to worry about it. It's a legitimate worry anyone should have, just don't let it get out of balance. On a more positive outlook, at least you are aware of your nature. Can you imagine not being self-aware, and then shift your goalposts to the far right? You'd be one of those silly flat-earth, QAnon, hoax conspirators, and that would just be incredibly sadder.

Any Android or Apple device should do the trick, when you load the Steam Link app, and you would preferably want something that you can connect with an ethernet cable to get maximum bandwidth and minimum latency. With a Shield 4k you have the option of either using Nvidia Gamestream or the Steam Link app. Roku won't work, and I think you'd have to sideload the app on a 4k Firestick--plus the Firestick is wireless which isn't ideal. -

Your motherboard manual should tell you which PCI-E slots get disabled when you use an NVME drive, because they typically share the same PCI-E lanes of one (or more) of the slots and all of those lanes will go to the southbridge, which can only handle so much. -
Sony The new Playstation Store is a piece of shit

It loads slower and looks like trash, but at least they made it simpler to get the PS+ games.
