Movies Shazam and Aquaman Trailers
cusideabelincoln replied to Wild's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Shazam could be fun, but it's really close to the cheesy/Youtube movie look and feel. Or maybe the contrast of how the kid as a kid is more mature than the kid as Shazam. I really don't like Shazam's voice inflections; he's way over acting. I'm digging Aquaman so far, but I can't tell how good or bad this movie will be based on the trailer. Black Manta looked really badass though. -

Television DC's Titans Trailer

Well, at least dropping "teen" from the title is appropriate for this gory mess. -
What toppings do you like and dislike on a pizza?
cusideabelincoln replied to Remarkableriots's topic in The Shower
Anchovies are just too strong and way overpowers the pizza for my tastes. If their intensity was cut by half, then they could be acceptable. -
PC Tech Fucking white lines on my monitor at the top

I have had this same model monitor for over five years now, with constant browser use, and don't have that burn in. I would try replacing the cable. -
PC What do you guys think of this PC build? update

Don't sweat it. 1TB drives have finally started dropping in price the last few weeks. I see a Crucial MX500 for that price, which will also be much more reliable than Silicon Power. -
They actually have them bundled together for $15. Perhaps a refund is in order?

Oh I'd jump on this 1TB Samsung SSD deal before it ends. It's more expensive, but Samsung SSD will be much more reliable and faster than Silicon Power. https://slickdeals.net/f/11761679-1tb-samsung-860-evo-2-5-sata-iii-internal-solid-state-drive-200-free-shipping -

Get faster memory. 3000 speed isn't much more than 2400. AMD's Ryzen processors are better than an Intel Core i5 at the same price. If you stick with Intel you should get an i7, as an i5 has no life left in it for future games. However, i5's are perfectly fine for your backlog. But with a Ryzen 5 processor you can get six cores/twelve threads or with a Ryzen 7 1700 you can get eight cores/16 threads for the same price as or less than an i5 four core/four thread processor. Dust filters are a *thumbs up* Some cases come with them built in. Since I've been using them in my newest case it stays very clean on the inside, even if I let the filters get too dirty. They just work, and as long as you have more fans than you need airflow won't be a problem. A GTX 1060 is a huge upgrade over a 1050 Ti. It's too bad they actually cost more now than when they did at the time of their release 1.5 years ago. But video card prices are finally dropping now that the mining craze has slowed down. If you could actually wait a few months, perhaps if your current video card is actually still functional, that would be the more cost effective route to take. -

No Fury's there, but the Radeon 580 is close in performance, newer, and uses less power. Cards named Vega are currently AMD's fastest available. -

@therockdltj It should do what you want, but the processor is a bit weak for gaming. I believe you can find something better for that price. https://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-Desktop-Computer-580-130/dp/B075LVK78B/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1530295523&sr=1-5&keywords=ryzen Processor: AMD Ryzen(TM) 5 1400 Processor, Quad-Core, 3.20GHz; Up to 6 cores, 12 threads, and a revolutionary new architecture combine for a CPU that easily handles AAA games, no matter how demanding Video graphics: AMD Radeon(TM) RX 580 (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated); High resolutions and smooth VR gameplay optimized with Polaris architecture and DirectX 12 performance Memory: 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM; Designed to run more efficiently and more reliably at faster speeds Hard drive: 1 TB 7200RPM SATA; Store all your digital content and still have room left over More productive. The video card barely meets the minimum requirements for WoW. Not sure what else is in your backlog, but it will struggle to even run some last gen games, and forget about running at 1080p. If you could dish out another $100 for a dedicated video card, then it would be OK. Here's a machine that will play your games better, but it's worse in every other aspect. It's about the cheapest thing you'll find: https://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-Desktop-Computer-590-p0020/dp/B07BD4Q46Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1530244034&sr=1-1&keywords=amd+2200g But if you can spend a little more, here are some options: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883221432R https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883101618 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883220990 -
I'm really looking forward to The Wasp being an Avenger! She was the best part of the animated series Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Somehow even dumber than the first movie and every character is a caricature. There really isn't a plot, other than they used any excuse to string together the scenes where dinosaurs are in places they shouldn't be or doing things they wouldn't normally do. And they somehow, somehow even after the last one, wringed out even more nostalgia from of the first film, and of course re-hashed the same beats and surprises. They've gone full Bay-Transformers.
