Ok I put God of War back in and it initially sounded fucking loud, then somehow kept getting louder with vibrational noise. But then I once I loaded my actual game save and got to move around in-game, the disc stopped spinning and is now quiet. Perhaps it was still trying to copy the rest of the data onto the SSD, because I see no reason why it would need to spin that fast just to verify I have the disc installed. I do have the FF franchise, but not in 4k. So I could try a regular FF8 blu-ray along with LOTR in 4k.

Yeah I did a quick google search and I ran across a few posts saying different games/discs responded differently.

I first installed God of War and the drive seemed to run at full RPMs for like 20+ minutes. Then I ejected it and put in a 4k Blu-ray and it was much quieter, but would get loud for half a second when skipping around from chapter to chapter. I'm about to test it out God of War and another game a bit later so I'll update shortly.

You can find PS+ routinely for $30/year. Definitely worth it.

I am disappoint-ed I can't get my free year of Switch Online from Amazon Prime anymore.

It was a God of War disc which seemed to be spinning full RPMs the entire time. I took it out and inserted a 4K Blu Ray movie and it wasn't as loud. It would periodically get loud when seeking on the disc, but then quiet down, although even in the quieter moments it still sounded louder than my PS4 slim.

Fuck, the disc drive in mine is super fucking loud and even when sitting idle at the home menu with a disc inserted it's constantly spinning, and there's definitely some vibrational noise.

Oh shit, they actually re-worked the CGI? I thought I read an article that said they did not do that, but now I am super hyped! Gotta pick my copy up tomorrow.

Ironic enough a person can say literally anything - spew out lies, nonsense, conspiracy theories - and people will believe it so long as it was spoken with confidence, conviction, and/or self-belief. It doesn't matter if the content of what is spoken is actually right or not - Trump is a prime example of that - so long as the deliverer can bypass the logic of the listener and make them feel something. This speech is a great example of that because it constrains the scale of "success". Homo sapiens' totality of evolutionary success, measured against the rest of the species in the world, relied on working together in groups, tribes, and societies, sharing knowledge, and developing the most advanced form of communication among any other species. This communication accomplished the very opposite of this speech's definition of greed, because this tool allowed us to coordinate and share knowledge at unprecedented levels. In the "natural" world his argument of greed makes sense if you scale back and refer to humans, as an entire entity, against every other species and taking away their resources for our own success, but what has gotten overlooked in this video clip is that he is talking about human-on-human (corporate-on-corporate) competition, and thus taking away resources from other humans to benefit yourself. And this is the very distinction young Wall Street yuppies, and most Americans, have missed about our current capitalistic society.

Nice. Now I wonder what happens, if you're logged into both the PS4 and PS5 at the same time, when a friend of yours sends you a message, game join request, and etc. Do both consoles get a notification?

You could theoretically just watch any of the Clone Wars episodes with Asohka and Mandalore and be fine for The Mandalorian, but you will miss out on some backstory for Rebels with some other characters that show up. Clone Wars didn't have as strong of an overarching plot like Rebels and The Mandalorian has, but as the series went on it started referencing previous events more and more. Episodes were pretty self-sustaining because it focused on a bigger cast of characters and their stories, and those stories didn't really mix with other ones, especially at the beginning. The series finale of Clone Wars, which takes place right before Revenge of the Sith, is amazing and a top 3 Star Wars movie.

So has any tried to be logged into the same PSN account on a PS5 and a PS4 at the same time? Try to play a (PS4) game (I assume physical copies wouldn't be a problem, but what about two digital games) at the same time? Is it even possible?

When I go to modify my already installed game, it says that Warzone is required to be left installed. So try to just install Warzone, and see how much it downloads? And then add on the other parts of the game as you want (Campaign, Multiplayer, Spec Ops, Survival are the other packages).

I was going to say the first part of the first season is enjoyable. But after the introductions and orientation, it takes off and stays high. There are a few breather episodes, but they still maintain excellent quality and the show usually ties-in a callback reference in later episodes.

Was hoping for a bigger discount on Half-Life Alyx.

After years of waiting for the Pro version, I too also broke down and bought one this Black Friday season. I mainly want to play Hyrule Warriors and try out the Mario Kart Live Home Circuit. Also banking on the fact Breath of the Wild 2 will come out in 12-16 months, but I also have a sneaking suspicion that is also when they will bring out a Pro Switch.

It took about 5+ minutes of refreshing to get it in my cart, even when it kept popping up an out of stock message. Gotta keep trying until the add to cart button disappears.

I just found out the secret, which may or may not work for everyone depending on your location. I have had zero luck with ship-to-home options, but tonight I just scored the Switch+Mario Kart and.... MY PS5 ORDER WENT THROUGH! *crosses fingers that it doesn't get cancelled* My secret was chosing Store Pickup at a store in a lower population town, about 50 minutes away from where I live. The two stores in my town, which is larger, kept giving me out of stock. Conveniently for me, the store in the smaller town happens to be right next to my work so it's not going to be out of the way for me.

Welp, no chance I snag a PS5 at 9PM tonight. Wally World somehow sold out of the Nintendo Switch 7PM sale before the add to cart button even appeared on the webpage.

The XSX should really have a DisplayPort output in order to support the 360Hz monitors on the market now. Imagine the marketer's wet dream of trying to sell an Xbox 360Hz!

That is a pretty old version of bluetooth. They are up to v5 now. I can only confirm connecting my controller to v4.
