  1. I did. Then I got this big ass wedge pillow for my bed. Been waking up feeling great ever since. All hail the wedge!
  2. I feel like Ubisoft's general level of success is nowhere near high enough to warrant such bold speculation/proclamations.
  3. Uhh, why does it have The Evil Within's exact UI? I mean, I guess they flipped it and changed the color? I guess it's all derivative of RE4 (even RE4 Remake's UI looks more like The Evil Within's now) but still, a little too close to me, my first thought was "wait, I recognize this UI"
  4. Alright, only had a brief chance to play, but visually the difference is pretty striking. Outdoor areas are a bit odd because you can see a lot of textures still being fullbright when they should be in shade, but the quality of everything is so dramatically higher than the base game, though there's still the occasional bug. Like the beheading at the beginning, the dude's weird face rags were left floating in the air where his head was prior to being removed, which was funny. Seems like every other menu has a tooltip from a mod popping up, which makes sense with 2000 mods, but is a little annoying the first time around. Seems to clear up pretty quick though. Only had a chance to do a few minutes of combat, and while the bones seemed the same (at least when swinging a 1-handed axe at level 1) the fact that enemies actually react to being struck with more than just an occasional weird twitch is a huge improvement. I'll wait and see how it develops, but combat at least feels more kinetic and impactful, which was always the worst part of Skyrim combat; slashing away at an unflinching enemy while doing chip damage to their giga health bar. Or going the punk ass bitch route of stealth archer so you basically don't do combat, which is an even more damning admission that it sucked. I look forward to digging into this more, the amount of things that have been changed is staggering. Also I selected nudity, as it said "some" character would become fully nude when their clothes were removed. Every time I loot the armor off someone it's full on cock n balls or vag. Physics enabled too! In a weird way. If you try and step on a lady, and this is the weirdest shit I've ever seen in a game, her boobs will of course fly around all crazy, but her vagina will also become a real gaper and react in the most unusual ways. 10/10
  5. Already got the first draft up!
  6. Awww shit! Thanks man! Now time to kill my 4080!
  7. Hm, $8 is a lot more reasonable than $20. Maybe I'll give it a shot.
  8. Do I? It didn't mention I owned it on the Steam page. Does it show up in your library as anniversary edition? Because I only see Skyrim and Special Edition. EDIT: Yeah, no DLC options when I right click the game to check properties, and when I install the game and open it, it just has a big ad for buying the anniversary upgrade. Classic Bethesda!
  9. I was ready to say "eh, what the hell" but seeing I'd need to pay $20 for the anniversary edition upgrade halted that thought in its tracks.
  10. I present to you: the newest game! I think it's actually a pretty damn good game, but dear god is it hurt badly by looking and especially running like ass.
  11. Carmen Santiago is the European version, like the Great Giana Sisters.
  12. Hell yeah, I'm all for not shying away from what Pokemon actually is! Can't wait to fuck my legally distinct Lucario!
  13. I'm mostly talking about Portal 2, which was light years ahead of Portal 1 in my opinion. Portal 1 always felt like a mod.
  14. The game. How have I not made this abundantly clear over the past 20 years?!
  15. You know what? I've avoided these because I feel like fan projects often don't reach the heights of professional made stuff (how could they?) but I've been wanting some more Portal for a while. I'll give it a shot.
  16. I like to imagine this is how every nation is at all times, and we're just learning about it recently as everyone seems to give less of a shit about keeping up appearances.
  17. The real fruit was me being pissed off at the transition from 6 to Gaiden. (Spoilers for 6 and Gaiden) I actually posted that on the Yakuza reddit, and the only response was someone basically making a bunch of inferences of stuff that didn't actually happen in the game, nor was it stated or implied, which seems about right.
  18. I'm actually partway through Judgment! But I stopped playing a while back as I wanted to catch up on the main games first. To be honest I prefer Judgement to the standard Yakuza games. I'm a huge sucker for detective stuff, even surface-level elements. I've decided to hold off on it and Lost Judgment, as well as Ishin, so that I have something to play in the gap between 8 and 9. Have not considered Fist.
