1. Wrong? I dunno. Probably. It's impossible to include everyone. The studios who purposely exclude certain publications from receiving code due to perceived past injustices are quite silly and petty. How much does this matter in the scheme of things / how much do I care? Very, very little. 2. I don't think publications are necessarily entitled to anything. The industry just doesn't work that way anymore. People aren't generally looking to big name sites reviews beyond confirming their pre-held notion about a game / or disagreeing with it and subsequently finding reasons why the person is "wrong." Maybe something like the justice league game getting out and controlling the narrative a little bit early on is helpful, but especially when it's a live service game it's just like... OK this ain't gonna save your ass if it's bad.

I got the season pass. I don’t know if they’ve balanced the game in such a way that makes it better or if I just like the rogue class a lot, but I’m having a lot of fun. I’m def leveling up a lot faster than in the past.

I’ve played X, the first switch game they released, and Arceus. Arceus was def an evolution and it held my attention better than any of the others did, but I got really bored with it by the end. It’s got the bones of a good game.

as I said though - if I’m being generous. The game doesn’t give kids enough credit and still sucks unfortunately. And just hasn’t evolved beyond visuals in what like two decades now.

Legends Arceus is the closest I’ve ever come to finishing one of them. I think the idea is so solid but the games they make are…frankly bad. Or if I’m being generous, they’re made for like kids under 12. I feel like palworld and that other Pokémon clone have at least hinted to big devs that there is an underserved population of players that want that sort of monster collecting but actually play a good game while they do it. A game I was fascinated by in high school was Digimon World. It was too hard for me at the time / maybe horrifically flawed, but I was super into digimon and that game at least had something to it. I know there’s been a ton of other games in that series but the first one was the only one I ever tried.

I get motion sick pretty easy if I am in a vehicle and not in control. Or like boats in the ocean I’ve never not gotten sick. But thankfully I’ve never gotten sick from games. I have hesitated to get VR in part because I don’t know how I’d tolerate some of that software (tho in short chunks that I’ve played with friends I’ve been fine). That sucks tho I hope some of the suggestions help.

Do you have a history of vertigo or anything?

This is an industry wide problem but there are some pretty concerning red flags with Microsoft specifically in recent months.

I suck so bad at Tekken but if I could be good at a fighting game it would be the one I would pick. I think the fights look so cool.

Lot of sickos out there

It wasn’t a bad game, but I adored driver 1 and then played 2 AFTER gta 3 came out and the out of the car bits were so funny in comparison I just couldn’t take it seriously.

I’m sure I’ve played worse games but I remember a Gex game … enter the gecko maybe… that was real bad, and also driver 2 comes to mind.

And I’ll also say I think a lot of people thought the main story was stupid, but I thought it was cool!

Generally I don’t think it’s super well regarded. I happen to personally like it quite a bit. If you want to play Fallout 3 but better looking and some more stuff to do, you’ll like it.

I have an Odin 2 coming today. They're a bit pricey but I have really been wanting to emulate some PS2 and Cube games. I'm pretty excited.
