Recommendation sugar intake for kids is 25 grams or less per day. A bowl of Frosted Flakes, for instance, with skim milk is 22 grams of sugar. With two kids of my own, I find it a nightmare attempting to keep their sugar intake that low, and we are pretty responsible / cognizant of it. Cereal as a meal is a nightmare idea if it's done with any sort of consistency - that is if we're talking these sugary cereals. Now, bowl of cheerios or something like that, assuming you are getting appropriate protein intake the rest of the day, could be fine once in a while. We treat cereal in our house as a candy or a treat, a reward to be had once in a while. I think that should be the case whether or not you are a child.

Just my two cents, I would trade my oled screen for an lcd screen if it meant my UI wasn’t as if I was running it on a 56k modem remotely and I could play original switch games with better performance. YMMV tho.

Almond milk is my favorite alternative but I understand the water demand for it is quite extreme, so I can do oat milk. However, I will say I primarily drink cow's milk. I don't drink a lot of it, I just enjoy it with like a sweet (cookie or what have you). I also use it for my lattes.

If my buddy I conned into getting the game is less than reliable I might be interested in playing with some of you, even tho I am not the type to do that usually (due to paralyzing fear tho no big deal).

I know what you mean, but I feel like every player is entitled to a piece of the pie since they all contribute to the machine and get relatively so little back for it.

They should bundle all sorts of channels under one, unified service. Perhaps they could deliver them on some kind of coaxial...line.

No, most of the teams will be represented with their appropriate name and nickname. 118 out of 134 schools I think I read. And many players will be represented with their actual name and likeness. I just want the game to A) be competent (big ask I know) B) be distinct from Madden C) have multiplayer asynchronous dynasties. My gaming friends are so sparse nowadays, but I have several who would buy a PS5 and play a dynasty with me just to replay our NCAA days.

Oh I guess first game I bought on day of release with my own money was probably Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance or GTA3. Somewhere in that range.

I think I got Croc Legend of the Gobos with the purchase of my PS1. Think I bought MK4 that day too. I started with an NES but we got one probably like in 1991ish and I was too young to buy my own games at that point.

I feel bad for the MS team cuz I’m sure they have a plan they want to execute but they get pulled in 10 different directions due to the size of the overall company.

Seemed like damage control to me but I agree it is unusual. I had to look up the ps5 launch date actually. Just over 3 years old. I just don’t feel like there’s much out for it yet even though I know there is. I don’t think their big games have been hitting for me so it feels like it just launched.

I would personally be surprised to see it before 2027. I think they need to milk this hardware for as long as they can. Not that it’s cutting edge tech or anything I just don’t think the masses care THAT much about an upgrade yet and won’t for at least 2-3 more years.

Nintendo is a mix of genius with at times falling ass backwards into the “right” decision.

I disagree. Switch 2 or super switch would sell gangbusters. This thing has reached the level of like a gameboy style device. It’ll sell. The Wii was a one off. The people who bought one weren’t looking for the next one. The demo that bought a switch will absolutely buy a more powerful switch.

I could see Mario Kart but honestly I don’t think they’ll release one. I don’t really have a great reason it just seems like put everything they had into 8 and unless they have some great new idea for it I just think it’s gonna be a while. I know it came out a long time after, but it reminds me of smash ultimate (a game I own but ended up barely playing now that I think about it). Like they did about all they could with the game and dare I say almost the series. It would be weird to release a new one.
