  1. I disagree. Switch 2 or super switch would sell gangbusters. This thing has reached the level of like a gameboy style device. It’ll sell. The Wii was a one off. The people who bought one weren’t looking for the next one. The demo that bought a switch will absolutely buy a more powerful switch.
  2. I could see Mario Kart but honestly I don’t think they’ll release one. I don’t really have a great reason it just seems like put everything they had into 8 and unless they have some great new idea for it I just think it’s gonna be a while. I know it came out a long time after, but it reminds me of smash ultimate (a game I own but ended up barely playing now that I think about it). Like they did about all they could with the game and dare I say almost the series. It would be weird to release a new one.
  3. Yeah the switch has certainly pushed even Nintendo’s efficient use of power to its limits it seems tho. Even launch BOTW taxed the switch to the point where it had some noticeable performance issues, which is really unusual for Nintendo in general let alone for the first game it puts out on its new machine. I am not expecting much of a leap to be honest, but if Nintendo can put out quality software as well as continue to run some of the indie style games well, I will buy one. I’m not gonna go launch model though unless they have something crazy good. I have a hunch it’s gonna be the next 3D Mario and maybe, MAYBE Prime 4. And I dunno, I don’t think those are gonna do it for me at launch. Especially when an oled model will pry come down the pipe.
  4. Signalis is pretty great but I found the story a bit hard to follow, which to some degree is intentional but I had trouble delineating what I should and should not understand. I thought Soma was pretty damn great.
  5. I want to make clear that I am absolutely not saying what you said in your post. I have no idea which one is more cognitively in decline. I am (poorly) trying to say that to just anyone watching the two of them speak or respond to folks, Biden will appear more “in decline” whether it’s true or not. And I think that’s the general sentiment of the article posted as well. Trump is a moron. I want to be absolutely clear. Even at his peak he was an idiot and he is in no way qualified to run a Burger King much less the country. I remember things like him calling Tim Cook (I think it was) Tim Apple. In terms of gaffes he does 100x more of them than Biden in part because he never shuts the fuck up but also because he is a fucking moron. And did I mention he is a fascist. Like a literal fascist and is kinda proud of it? Well he is. If you support him then you are not in any way in support of anything this country is at least pretending to be about. I dunno do I need to go on.
  6. It’s crazy how long trump’s presidency seems in my head vs Biden just cuz of how omnipresent Trump was. I wish we could transport everyone’s brains back to that nightmare for 5 mins just so we can all recall how exhausting it was and that we can choose to not do that shit again.
  7. I will take Biden’s disarticulated brain hooked up to a couple of electrodes over Trump. Did I “want him badly?” Hell no. But those are our choices.
  8. I'm not talking about gaffe's though. I'm talking about especially when he's trying to speak off the cuff, the cadence and struggle of his speech. I don't know how much cognitive decline Biden has obviously, but to the average dumbass who just watches the two of them in public, Trump absolutely seems like he has a better handle on things than Biden even if what Trump is saying is batshit insane. That's all I'm saying.
  9. I'm aware of his stutter, and perhaps now that he has some decline he has to consciously attempt to reign it in more than before, but the difference in his speech 4-8 years ago vs now is night and day. Trump is a moron, I hope it's clear I despise that fascist, but he sounds pretty much the same as he did 8 years ago. Biden does not.
  10. I dunno, I think trump is clearly less affected by his age at this point than Biden. I honestly cringe whenever Biden is speaking because it's such a struggle for him.
  11. I would just say I am reacting to specific real world people who are not in any financial disadvantageous situation who absolutely are not reacting the way that they are because of the reasons you are laying out. I don't really disagree with what you've said here, I would just say I am not seeing that person speak out in despair and while I don't doubt a few of them exist, it's probably not a significant issue. And I don't really see this as a lack of fight for the ecosystem or not wanting to compete or whatever. I think the people at MS are going to try to make the user experience / ecosystem as it were as great as they can, they're not going to get rid of achievements and whatnot, they still HAVE all those studios you (AKA this hypothetical person) bought the thing for. If Bethesda's games were that big of a sway to you you chose to get an Xbox over a PS5 or whatever...I really don't think anything that meaningful has changed for you and especially without broad clarification on what the plan actually is the MOST extreme you should get with your response is well let's wait and see what they have to say. And really this has all happened in what the last 12-18 months? I would just say to this person who wanted Bethesda games real bad but the sting of losing Sony's exclusives was pretty tough...you shoulda just gone PC at this point.
  12. I think you are granting the maximum amount of slack to a hypothetical person who may or may not exist I would feel the mildest of sympathies for a person who was some kind of Bethesda super fan who would still have access to all of those games they bought the console for but maybe missed out on a couple games on ps5 due to their Bethesda fandom and therefore maybe possibly coulda had both but we actually don’t even know that for sure… yes.
  13. The guy’s vid I watched was mad primarily (it seemed) because starfield was going to ps5. These guys don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt.
  14. Man I just watched some of those influencer vids. That shit is ROUGH hahaha. And you'd like to think OK they're gonna be young, impressionable perhaps not even fully believing in their bullshit kids. Nope, grown men talking about how it's a personal betrayal to them after dropping hundreds of thousands into "the brand." My goodness gracious.
  15. People are responding to you in somewhat vague terms I guess but I’m trying to be clear haha. They said it is a trilogy. There’s 1 more game after this new one.
  16. It’s absolutely not, they’ve said very specifically where it ends if you care to look it up. (also this implies the first game was the first half of the game and it also was not).
  17. It looks literally like 10 times more ambitious than the first one. And reminds me that this game is my favorite goddamned game ever.
  18. ….i dunno about this haha. I think most people understand that CEOs and executives and public facing individuals have specific roles separate from the people doing the work. And they speak in broad terms like “here at Microsoft, we blah blah blah.” Sure it’s artificial PR speak but it’s not anything new.
