TheLeon
A shark-less tornado movie just doesn’t do it for me any more. 1
SaysWho?
What a weird movie to reboot.
ort
Who do they get to play the tornado this time? I'm hoping for Mahershala Ali.
Dre801
SMH. What next, a "Speed" reboot?
Greatoneshere
Yes but are they corporate sell outs or in it for the science? Love the original. Kosinski the right guy for the spectacle.
Mercury33
What an incredibly odd movie to remake. I feel like the original has aged really well

Though kids may disagree since its old now, but my wife liked it, but she's around my age, so she accepts 90's movies easier more inherently. It’s still my go to movie to show off my surround sound set up. All though there’s not many people that surround sound needs to be showed off to any more lol
GeneticBlueprint
Man I loved the original. Haven't seen that since I was 10-11. I don't know why it needs a reboot though. I'd rather have a sequel. I wonder if they would have gone that route if Bill were still alive.
sexy_shapiro
This was the first DVD my family owned after we made the switch from VHS. It will always hold a special place in my heart for that reason. But do people actually think it’s still a great movie? I haven’t seen it in years, but people I know who still like still think it’s a silly movie but enjoy it regardless. Emblazon
The movie ages really well. It’s also rather depressing as it stars both Bill Paxton and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I just really hope, if Helen Hunt is back, the movie explains how it was a tornado that fucked up her face.

I’ve never met anybody in my life who had actual surround sound. I think a lot of wealthy people won’t bother with it unless it’s something they really want (or they’re absurdly wealthy).
