Keyser_Soze
I didn't opt in to the beta because I wanted to be surprised. It certainly looks nicer than the old version.
Brick
It was a big surprise when I signed in today. It'll take some getting used to I suppose, but it looks nice I think.
jaethos
I like that there are icons next to the names in list view, but I don't really like the announcement row stuck on top of the main window.
RedSoxFan9
Would have looked great in 2005

TwinIon
It's certainly better. Not sure why they've been so resistant to updates for so long.

I only have one Steam Game BioShock Infinite. so not much to look at in way of library for me on my mac.
AbsolutSurgen
I was confused by this, because Steam didn’t look any different to me. I had to force the update to see the new view.
CastlevaniaNut18
Steam updated before launching today, but I'm not seeing anything different.
legend
It's a massive improvement IMO. Of course that's pretty easy to accomplish since the old view was seriously lagging behind.
AshsToAshs
I really like the "What's New" section in the new Library Home view. It's nice to see which of my games have gotten recent updates. That is something I often miss.
rossi_84
Would not load for me, i had to toss a few startup commands to get it to start, restarted tonight and seems to be working
RedSoxFan9
I don't like it. I want to hide the list on the left. Also half of the icons are fucked up.
Keyser_Soze
They are "fucked up" because they are most likely old games / less popular games that don't have spiffy cover art of those dimensions. However, if you want you can right click and choose custom artwork for it.
RedSoxFan9
Old games/less popular games are the bulk of the games on steam.

I've got a bunch of games from '16/'17 that have borked artwork (i.e. Star Trek Bridge Crew, Sexy Brutale, Shadow Complex, etc.)
dualhunter
Games that have multiple versions often have one version with a normal icon and another with a small icon and it's not always the older version that has the small icon. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter has a normal icon but the Redux version has a small icon. The regular version of Hellblade's icon is fine but the VR version has the small icon. HGLatinBoy
If that’s the case they should let us use our own icons like zune used to with album art. also how do remove “what’s new” I don’t need to see what’s new from any game let alone don’t starve. I regretted getting that I regret more now

You can. Right click it > manage > Set custom art
