Guest Posted April 2, 2023 Share Posted April 2, 2023 One of the things I hate about modern baseball load management stuff is what happened at the Astros/White Sox game today. Astros get two runs in to close the gap to 6-3 in the 9th, and with two runners on and two outs, they leave Yordan on the bench because it is his day off. Ā Similarly, when it was 4-1, they left the second year recover in there for a third inning hoping to let the rest of the bullpen rest. Guy was getting hit hard and ends up giving up a 2 run homer. Ā Baseball drives me crazy sometimes because it is clear they arenāt always trying to win the game.
