Dodger
Lux with a torn ACL and expected to miss the season. He had a quiet great year last year too. Was really hoping to see him build on that.

Similar to what happened with Kyler Murray, just shifted weight wrong but you knew when you saw it was a blown knee. Sucks for the guy.
Dodger
I like the new rules so far. Sabermetrics ruined baseball. It’s nice to see normal infields again. Max muncy did bring up how the pitch clock could be a problem for longer at bats bit overall I like the new rules.

sblfilms
I'm interested also to see how things will go with some of these veteran pitchers wanting to call the game themselves, having the catcher wear the receiver and the pitcher wear the transmitter. Biggie
Video game baseball! Cant wait for a batter to almost take a 100 mph fastball right upside his dome and get a whole 8 seconds to regroup his thoughts and be ready to hit again. Good stuff.

CastlevaniaNut18
My jersey obsession is kicking in again. I bought a Devers jersey, finally. Also got myself a Julio Rodriguez jersey because I love that kid. And on the hockey side, I got a Pastrnak jersey since he’s staying in Boston now. I gotta slow down with my splurging lol 1

I gotta slow down with my splurging lol you should see my closet of Jays jerseys of players mostly past. Although my sister and mom got me a Vlad Jr white jersey for Xmas and Bichette in the powder blue, the year before. I have Halliday, Ryan, Romano, Lawrie, Donaldson and many more. Some don’t have a name but I think I’m nearing 25 in total. With even 2 powder blue Expos jerseys in the mix

CastlevaniaNut18
That's why I get jerseys from players who sign long term contracts. Like all three names I mentioned above.

Dodger
I regret my Jarod Goff Rams jersey purchase for sure. At least my only Dodger jersey is a Kershaw one. I’ll always get use out of that.

sblfilms
Altuve out reportedly 8-10 weeks after the fracture in the WBC game. Hard to replace an MVP and perennial all-star, but at least it’s only for the first third of the season. Astros gave a 26 year old rookie, David Hensley, who will likely get most of the 2B starts while Altuve is out. He was a September call up last season and improbably made the post season roster, even had a few massive ABs. Not expecting a ton out of him offensively, but he is a solid defensive player. sblfilms
Can’t wait for this kid to come to the MLB. Manfred should grease the wheels with his Japanese club to get him here sooner than 2026, when he is currently projected to be available.
