One of the only negative impacts I have had from being diabetic since I was a kid is slight neuropathy on the bottom of my toes and the area that ended up burning, so I normally am really careful about being barefoot because I’m just less sensitive to pain signals. Super dumb not to notice other people reacting to the temp!

lol that's why my foot exploded, except my neuropathy isn't due to diabetes
