thewhyteboar Posted October 31, 2022 Share Posted October 31, 2022 I doubt it? People are pretty pissed at the police. It seems like there were fewer police there than in the past. And since Halloween isn't an official "event," no one closed the main street to cars like they've done for festivals in the past. If that had been done, there would have been more space for a crowd. Instead, everyone was funneled into these tiny alleys and back streets. So no one will probably be charged, but there will probably be some resignations, especially from the one government dude who said something tone-deaf about how there was nothing that could have prevented this. There are rumors that there was a group of 5 dudes or so who were shoving and pushing and trying to make their way through the crowd, and that that could have caused it.
