johnny Posted December 25, 2020 Share Posted December 25, 2020 the last time i legitimately enjoyed the holidays was when i was a teen. i have a small family and i mostly just feel alone and sad. in the pre-pandemic world i would never see cousins or anything. just me, mom, dad, and brother (and his family). so im like the odd one out. But now I don't have a job so, it's still kind of like another day except I don't have to rush off to go to work this time and maybe could enjoy Christmastime with my mom. We opened gifts extra early this morning, and had a very tasty Strada with strawberries and homemade whipped cream made by yours truly! My kids are currently playing with their new gifts, and my wife is enjoying an extra hour of nap time before we attempt to help my son build his ridiculously large Star Wars AT-AT lego set. The only sad part is we haven’t been able to see by family since last Christmas, which has meant they still haven’t met my daughter, but I’m fortunate I really enjoy spending time with my wife’s family.
