  2. If you’re going to play Ocarina of Time, play the far superior 3DS version.
  3. This game is Contra in name only. If they presented this as a new IP, reception would be different, I think.
  4. I’m for sure getting that one. Whether or not I can resist the temptation to get the “normal” version...THAT is the question.
  5. I’m having a tiny bit of regret waiting until the PKMN version. Must....have....patience....!
  6. Going a bit old school (kinda) and picked Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow up again. It still holds up!
  7. Yeah, Super Monkey Ball or even Sonic Adventure worked well with my kids. Minecraft or Super Mario Maker 2 are great as well. Mario Kart is good too.
  8. Were these the games that were on PS2/Xbox/Gamecube back in the day? If so...meh. No gobbling will occur. I’ll pass.
  9. I was trying to remember what this reminded me of, and then it hit me. It's very reminiscent of the Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II remakes that came out on PSP. Though this seems more HD-er than those.
  10. Nintendo is the Royal Family of Crazy Ideas. This product was to remind people of that, just in case they forgot.
  11. I played a bit of Dreamcast yesterday to celebrate. Went through Arcade Mode in Soul Calibur then picked up an old save file from Grandia II...which I must have started the game over from the beginning since I was just outside the first town with very low levels. Weird. Anyone play Super Magnetic Neo? Always wanted to try that one but never did for whatever reason.
  12. Yup, Dreamcast was/is awesome! Loved that system - played Soul Calibur almost non-stop on that thing. It was in constant rotation with me and my college roommates. Loved Skies of Arcadia on it, and couldn't get enough of San Fransisco RUSH: 2049. I also loved how easy it was to play import games on Dreamcast as well. So cool. So many hidden gems on the system, even now. Anyone out there play Toy Commander? Floigan Bros.? Wild Metal? Good stuff. Capcom was a champ on the ol' DC. It was so awesome to be able to play Street Fighter III at home. Nowadays the only version we get is Third Strike - which admittedly is the best version, but...I dunno. I'm nostalgic for the OG version. That sketchy/rough art style and the trippy background change when doing Super Moves...why'd they change that?! SEGA had a rough time in the hardware business, and while its a bit sad to see them only produce software now...at least they went out with a bang.
