  1. Hmm, well that actually contradicts what was told to us all in Chrono Trigger; the Time Egg is simply pure potential. Nothing about it being fucked, or that it is even fuckable.
  2. This happened to me. For example, I used to think that time was like a river. Flowing swift and sure in one direction always. Then I played Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and I realized that time is actually an ocean in a storm. True story.
  3. They already have Kojima, right? If not, maybe make him an offer.
  4. Cool cool. Just wondering since (IIRC) there is some stuff from the demo that carries over to the main game. Not a necessity of course.
  5. What the hell am I even looking at. The part where it went all gray was kinda cool, I guess.
  6. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Super Mario Maker 2
  7. @darkness35 Well, he got one thing right. The "Shard" system is *exactly* like the Soul system in Aria/Dawn of Sorrow. Honestly, Ritual of the Night has more in common with the "Sorrow" games than Symphony of the Night - which is what many consider this to be a spiritual successor to. Which is still fine, I suppose. Soma's games are often acknowledged as some of IGA's best work.
  8. Here is the hard truth: all games today have good to great graphics. We've reached a point where objectively bad graphics really don't exist. Now its just up to personal preference.
  9. I have been thinking about picking up the OG versions of the Etrian Odyssey for the DS. I heard they are pretty expensive nowadays, though. Especially if they are CiB. I've wasted my money on worse things though. Maybe I'll go for it...
  10. WARNING REGARDING PS4 VERSION A buddy of mine got the PS4 game and it hard crashed on him multiple times. Lost his progress each time and had to start from scratch over and over. Another friend played 30 hours of it without issues on his PS4. So...be careful. Save often. Don’t play for extended periods of time without taking breaks here and there. I’ve been playing the Switch version (been playing IGAvanias on handhelds for years now, no need to stop now) and it’s pretty good. Graphics are a bit “low rent” and controls feel a little “floaty” compared to past games IGA has directed...but otherwise decent. Music is awesome. So there is that, at least.
  11. Seems there will be at least one more retail release of some repute coming soon(ish). Those thugs over at Limited Run Games are doing an “Atooi Collection” that will have 5 Jools Watsham games on a single card: Bomb Monkey, Chicken Wiggle, Mutant Mudds, Mutant Mudds: Super Challenge and Xeodrifter. Yeah I’m gonna buy it. Who’s with me?
  12. You...what? A buddy of mine got this game and put 30 hours into and beat it. Says he’s gonna go back and pick up more of the collectibles and whatnot. But I think that is a testament to how good the game is. It ain’t no Mighty No. 9! He’s planning on double-dipping with the Switch version, for portable play. I’ll likely start playing this tomorrow. Looking forward to it!
  13. Yeah, good point. I just saw a tweet from Retro...they are looking to hire an art director specifically for Prime 4.
