While I don’t disagree with anything anyone has said. Every observation about the trailer I agree with. But at the same time, what was everyone honestly expecting this to be? This is illumination not Pixar(not that they’ve been anything great the last decade). For me personally I WANT all the fan service. That’s what I expected out of this. 90 minutes of “No way I can’t believe they included *insert obscure Mario 2 reference* in this movie” and for Jack Black to be awesome and steal the movie. Which it looks like it’s both of those haha

Agreed. I don’t think I realized they would go kinda Young Adult with it. Which was a turn off for about 5 minutes. But this show really is wonderful so far. The “fellowship” has great chemistry with each other. It’s very funny but in a charming way. I love that it replicates the feeling of the original. Just good vs evil. No shades of grey. I could do without the cover songs during the credits though. That’s a trend that needs to die a swift death.

This movie is gonna make ALL of the money.

Yeah snapping gets really tough the higher you get. Most people can recognize what type of deck you’re running based on one or two cards. So you have to not only build a deck that can win consistently but a deck that can trick your opponent into thinking they’re winning.

I hadn’t moved on from episode 2 because that reveal at the end pissed me off so much. Now hearing you guys basically confirming that is indeed the “twist” I don’t think I have any desire to keep going.

Slumberland - 7/10 Watched this last night with the family. It’s fine. There’s kind of a twist that you can see a mile away but it’s still executed well. Def has the heart it needs with a couple scenes that trigger those damn allergies out of nowhere haha. Very good if you’re looking for a family movie this season. Not a must see otherwise.

Through two episodes and I’m enjoying it. I don’t find the characters to be boring at all. I will echo the dislike for what you see at the end of the episode 2. I LOVE the actual setting and the mystery of a Ghost Ship(one that gives off an excellent Event Horizon vibe). I’m gonna be so annoyed if that implied twist happens.

Wife and I went to see it last night. Sold out show! I’m sure that has more to do with it being the night before Thanksgiving but it was still nice to see a full theater for a non blockbuster that’s also releasing in a month on Netflix. It’s utterly fantastic. More of the same but kind of ramped up from the first. More over the top. You kind of think you’re in a James Bond setting but with very silly people. Daniel Craig is incredible and so is Edward Norton(everyone is great) but for me the stand out was Batista. He just gets better and better with each roll.

This is as much and as good of a game as Vampire Survivor is 🤷🏻‍♂️

Game was utterly brilliant and I can’t wait to go back to that world.

100% I def find I do better when I don’t sprint, hug the walls and go around corners with my sights up. I don’t know shit about how to build guns so I’ll def have to look at that. I know ADS speed and recoil were key but I also thought the more you added the better because the benefits would outweigh the negatives. So I’ll def have to go reevaluate my load outs.

Hardcore mode(or whatever they’re calling it now) can’t get here fast enough.

Lol at the idea of comic characters having to adhere to some kind strict character traits. The ONE place where it is absolutely laughable to dismiss character changes is in comics where shit new versions of characters are born/killed/thrown through time/evolved/devolved constantly. Cause Superman is so damn “hopeful” in the Injustice arc.

No not really. It wasn’t the nature of the bad stuff that happened that pissed me off. I mean it’s horrible but no worse than some other stuff I’ve seen. It’s the decision making or lack thereof. I don’t want to go into too much detail because this steaming pile of shit isn’t worth the effort to click the spoiler button. I just kind of didn’t like it until the last 25 minutes. That’s when it actively pissed me off. Acting, music, look are all great. It’s the plot. I would go lower if I could. 2022

That really sucks since he was basically the driving force behind getting that show made. I dunno maybe the arc of this coming season ends with the focus mostly on Ciri with Geralt being more in the background. So weird.

I don’t think he says follow your nose exactly. But he does choose the correct path in Moria by following the “fresher air” which he also says right before the nose line in the show.
