  1. Just a few hours away from the big kick off, going to be a great season I think. Manchester City have to be favorites to retain the title, but Liverpool have strengthened their squad and could run them close. Other teams to watch out for are Wolves and Fulham, who have made some ambitious signings since getting promoted. Everton also look to have a much more balanced squad after their busy transfer deadline day and will be pushing for a top 6 finish. Fixtures: http://www.skysports.com/premier-league-fixtures
  2. Barring a disaster, I think this has 'Game of the Year' in the bag.
  3. I am not even a Smash fan and I am impressed with what I saw. The huge soundtrack alone makes it worth a buy!
  4. We are getting a weekend 'test smash', probably to coincide with the paid online launch I recon.
  5. I've had Sonic Mania for a year and barely touched it. I'd like to finish Dragon Quest Builders as well, so that'll be my 2....
  6. Can't wait for the Switch update to release, hopefully it won't be long. Is supposed to be PC first, then Switch, then everything else I think.
  7. As I type this, Nintendo's shares are up over 6%. I think the hedge fund has shit the bed on this one....
  8. It's not looking good for his bet... https://m.nasdaq.com/article/nintendo-profit-beats-expectations-despite-soft-switch-sales-20180731-00148 Nintendo profits up 88% - beating expectations.
  9. Either he knows something, which is illegal, or its a big risk....
  10. Still not got this, but it is top of my list. Moving home and changing jobs right now, so not got much time or money, but will grab it in few weeks. Everything I've read and heard about it has me itching to play it.
  11. The last EA game I bought was SSX Blur on the Wii (the worst SSX game!). If they are giving away any of the old Bullfrog games, let me know. Not played Syndicate for years...
  12. EA has killed all the franchises that i liked of theirs. I've not bought and EA game in years. They are dead to me.
  13. I know what you mean about PCs being expensive back then. I got my first PC when I was 17. My grandmother died and left me some money, on the condition I spent it on something "useful". I got a 486DX 33mhz PC, with a 14" monitor and a massive 4MB (not GB, MB!) of RAM. It cost 1600 pounds! Mind you - it was built like a tank, I used the case and keyboard for the next decade, just swapping out parts every few years.
  14. The actual game itself looks like the best of the 3 so far I think. Labo is one of those things I know I would enjoy, but I just have no space for this stuff...
  15. Did some web-based training as part of the onboarding for my new job. It wasn't very exciting, but I understand how to do my job a little better....
  16. So already from this thread I want to watch Wreck it Ralph and Edge of Tomorrow....
  17. Reminds me - I forgot about this from the same people I think? NOT SAFE FOR WORK!
  18. I watched this Blur video earlier, and I loved the platform game idea they used - and the boss fights, it reminded me of early 90s gaming! It got me thinking - what are some other cool examples of Movies, Music videos etc. That have taken inspiration from gaming?
  19. Definitely this. If there was better battery tech, then devices like the Nintendo Switch could be much more powerful, without getting bulky. I would love a laptop and a phone that I didn't need to charge every day as well.
