  1. And includes a mouse cursor.
  2. Good haul, @SoberChef! On a side note: Something I didn't even realize when I started buying 4K movies but for which I'm grateful is how many of them come with not only the 4K Blu-ray but also the "standard" Blu-ray. Getting that standard Blu-ray feels like a nice bonus and makes it much easier to e.g. 1)rip to my hard drive and 2)watch at someone else's house who hasn't yet upgraded to 4K.
  3. My family and I watched Elf (with Will Ferrell) and A Charlie Brown Christmas last night and we'll probably watch It's a Wonderful Life in the next couple of days.
  4. I mean, I live in Portland so I've unfortunately seen more human shit on the streets than I ever expected to in my life, but...
  5. Please tell me this isn't human shit and piss...
  6. I clicked the link expecting it to be $100. It's only $25?! That's nuts!
  7. A more accurate/complete headline would be: "Colorado supreme court justices face death threats after Trump ruling and right-wing media incitement."
  8. Yeah it can be a million things; politics, religion, or philosophy... Multidimensionalism is way more interesting.
  9. Wish these were available somewhere else. I've got Netflix, Disney+, Prime... I don't really want to get Paramount too.
  10. I think that makes a lot of sense. At 41 you probably have a much greater sense of what you want and need from a partner... That's certainly how I feel at 38. And as you can see by how much I've posted in this thread, I know a lot more about what I don't want than I did in my 20s too.
  11. There are some obvious allowed exceptions to the rule, of course.
  12. I thought of another one thanks to the Taylor Swift Person of the Year thread over on the CEB: Making your personality all about just one thing or person.
  13. Off topic, and at the risk of annoying you with unsolicited advice: I'd suggest you avoid using the term "flyover state" going forward; it's not a good look for you or indeed anybody, IMO, and I think your point stands just as well without it. As my grandpa used to say: "No generalization is worth a damn, including this one."
  14. Purchased! Steam tells me I've put in almost 80 hours into the regular game and previous DLC, so... I'm expecting great things from this.
  15. Also for the movie itself, I didn't think it actually looked that bad, though I suspect it will be very hamfisted with its morality.
  16. IMO you're right about it being a long ass time ago and the fact that people should get the fuck over it already, be on the right side of history, etc. BUT.... I also wonder if practically speaking, unfortunately too many people are still attached to the Lost Cause narrative for studios to want to alienate them (i.e. not get their money).
  17. Knowing nothing of the details of this particular case, at first thought I theoretically wouldn't have a problem with this, honestly. It does happen that people, including and maybe especially famous people, are sometimes falsely accused, and waiting for our judicial system to complete its process before jumping to conclusions seems reasonable to me.
  18. @Remarkableriots What's your budget and what exactly are your requirements? I found this reddit thread that had a couple specific suggestions, but 1) it's a year old so there may be better options and 2) without knowing a bit more of your requirements, I'm not sure if they're right for you. It might be a good place to start though.
  19. As has been said many times: It's not Trump's rhetoric itself that is so worrying to me, because there are always crazy assholes. What's upsetting is how many others are going along with him even now.
  20. It makes me laugh and says a lot that Utah's highest result was "Mormon".
