    I'm not a Souls fan in general, but that looked really good. They seem to be using a lot of the great ideas from BotW open world and fusing it with the Souls formula. I think this conversation about difficulty is interesting. I think my take away is the game is "hard" in that you have to put in time and lots of failure before you succeed, but simultaneously "easy" in that virtually anyone can get very good at it, as opposed to some games where the skill ceiling is far higher than many people will ever achieve.

    What could we do to build large systems that collect CO2 and are good for life? I'll have to to go to my thinking spot to ponder how it can be done.

    Bought a whole prebuilt PC with one, which worked out because I needed to upgrade my PC at the time anyway. This route *still* works for getting one if you're willing to do a whole PC upgrade.

    She gave her daughter away for adoption when she was born due to difficult life situations. Later in life they were able to reconnect overcoming large geographic separation and form a beautiful relationship. It's a heart-warming story coming to ABC next spring.

    I think Salvor being violence amenable is disappointing, but if they work this into the event that changes their character more into the one we know in the book, I'd be cool with that. We'll see. Re: seeing the future. It's definitely different and I'm unsure how I feel about it since they only just revealed it. But it's not all that different from (book spoilers) Overall, I'm enjoying it, but there are other scifi shows I've enjoyed more (e.g., The Expanse)

    Which is bad, but confusing what is meant by something that uses the exact same name is not the same as playing a character that you have confused with a character from a completely different show. Ted Lasso is not a character in Friday Night Lights, and that would remain incorrect even if Friday Night Lights was about soccer. Mitt is doing this meme But I can't tell if he's doing it deliberately or actually just doesn't realize the error.

    True. Not as fast as it would be if they produced them together/back-to-back I'm just sour that it's going to be a while because the studios weren't willing to going all in on it from the beginning.

    This was a really well done scene in the movie. When the switch in Paul flips, it's beautifully acted by both actors: Paul's expression and the Bene Gesserit's reaction to him.

    That looks fun. These videos really do give me hope that they finally understand Halo. Fingers crossed for this one.

    Hollow Knight has an amazing soundtrack, but what really gets me is the battle music for the "Dung Defender" is one of the catchiest pieces of battle music in all of video gaming history. But it's for the fucking dung defender! This is a middle-tier boss among many in the game. The name speaks volumes! I mean, listen to this goofy fuckers voice! He's practically the la la la Russian singer! And yet, his track frequently creeps its way into my mind. Anyway, just felt like sharing.

    I liked it a lot, with the exception that its break point is deeply unsatisfying. If they finish part 2, then I think the total product will be fantastic, but it really does feel incomplete as it is right now.

    I am for the first time in a long time, optimistic about Halo! But I still haven't played any myself yet!

    I'm sure developers have made bad rebalancing decisions at various times. But a game without any rebalacing is probably doomed and then the only resolution is people move on to a different game or sequel. I suspect you probably don't actually need NFTs for a game. Just digitally sign whatever content you were thinking about using as an NFT and let the users hold onto their own data.
