  1. The algorithm doesn’t give you what you WANT, it gives you what will keep you reading, and rage keeps page views up. Even in my following tab o still get ads for shit my follows would never lead you to think I’m interested in even slightly. My “for you” tab is only vaguely tolerable because I block constantly and even then I get crypto bullshit and other nonsense constantly.
  2. Apparently Biden’s spokesperson had to clarify that neither he or any US official has actually seen pictures or independently confirmed for the beheaded infants, they just took Netanyahu’s word and media reports at face value.
  3. I haven’t had cable for well over a decade because of the cost and I genuinely don’t understand how/why people afford to pay for it anymore. It was quasi-sane back then to pay $100 a month to get cable, internet, and a land line but then they ballooned it to $200+ and cutting the landline would actually cost me money, so I just flipped between Verizon and comcast every two years to pay $30 a month for internet alone. It would be amusing to watch “disrupters” slowly rebuild what existed before but shittier if a bunch of VC assholes didn’t get rich and cash out in the process.

    I mean,

I heard someone unironically say that Taylor Swift is a part of the deep state because the song Anti-hero has the line “sexy baby” in it and that’s code talk for secret democrat pedos.
  5. I guess what I mean is there a larger goal than kill a bunch of IDF with a home field advantage or is this a known Pyrrhic victory at best?
  6. I think the first game is largely considered mediocre, so not porting it isn’t a surprise.
  7. At this point what do dems have to gain by NOT voting for McCarthy and ending the charade?
  8. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On! Bayonetta 3 Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare (GBC) Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Link’s Awakening (Switch) No More Heroes 3 Nier Replicant some decimal or another Stray Immortality Fear & Hunger ---------------------------------------- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Finally put this one to bed after playing it more or less exclusively since it came out. Like Elden Ring, TotK suffers from being a bigger, longer version of something I played to death already. As time went on, the charm wore progressively thin and I just wanted it to be done and there was just more and more of it laid out in front of me. I've been fighting basically the same monsters for over 200 hours now and there's not really anything interesting to add to the mix. The building system is interesting and novel, but the game rarely gives you a reason to do it. The dungeons are better and more of a highlight than BotW, but there's still so few of them overall. Really where it got to be a grind was there were just so many quests and side things to do, and because of the systems involved they're all fundamentally pointless. I could scour this corner of the map for seven special objects to bring to one place and then I'll get... some weapons that will break. Why should I bother? Yes, I could get every set of armor, but the upgrade costs for each set are so steep that I'm better off focusing on one as opposed to spending dozens of hours farming bits and bobs off of enemies. Still, I really enjoyed the vast majority of it, I just was ready for it to be over long before I got through even a decent chunk of the content on offer. The storyline was a good time even though being able to find it in whatever order you please kind of robbed me of some of the intrigue based on what I stumbled across first. The end fight is properly entertaining and a big spectacle. I'm glad they've announced that they're leaving this style behind for the next one because as much as I liked these two, the idea of another game exactly like this is just too much.
  9. A shame but not surprising. The fact that there was an Evil Dead game that wasn’t absolute shit straight from the colon is still a miracle. It had its problems and after a certain point you were playing with stone cold killers, but I liked my time with it a lot.
  10. How much of their travel is based on age of consent laws?
  11. I mean is he popular enough statewide for him to have a fighting chance.
