  2. Have never used the insect glave before but decided to try it out. Flipping around in the air is pretty fun.
  3. I only got a screen protector for my switch because people said the screen gets scratched if you put it in the dock. But I never ended up putting mine in the dock. Also, I'm not too fond of putting screen protectors on touch screen devices (I don't have any on my phone or ipad) so I didn't get one for the deck.

  5. I know my topics don't carry the same prestige as something from @thewhyteboar or @SaysWho? but check out this show. D.P. is a show on Netflix that follows a division of military police that are tasked with bring back deserters of the military. In Korea all (most?) men are required to serve in the military. But the show isn't happiness and sunshine it definitely paints military life in a negative light. It highlights the toxic culture inside the units and maybe even up the command line in terms of hazing, bullying, etc. Sure serving may not be for everyone but the show really illustrates that what goes on there is one of the greater driving forces to desertion. The show is only six episodes but they're all compelling and well done. If you're one of those folks who are afraid to watch a show on Netflix because it won't get a second season, well a second season of this was confirmed December of last year. So feel free to sit back, relax and enjoy this one!

  8. Gave this a go for a couple of hours. It's not bad. It's like overwatch mixed with a horde based version of gambit (kind of) so you know @Brick would be down. The first phase is to mow down hordes of dinosaurs (it's dangerous to take a triceratops head on) and there's another team doing the same thing, you see their ghost and the game says if you're ahead or behind. Then it shifts into a payload thing where you escort a payload and can "invade" the other person's game as a dinosaur and then the payloads meet and you kill each other. Another mode has you picking up datachips or something while fighting off a horde and you can kill the other team for chips. Then there was another mode where you work together with the other team to kill a mega horde and a neo t-rex. I quit because at the end of the beta all you were getting was this T-Rex mode. To answer @skillzdadirecta there seems to be like 10 different suits, at least that they showed. (You could only be like 4 in the beta)

  10. It's also worth mentioning that all of those games use different netcode Monster Hunter is actually running on new Nintendo Netcode, so it shouldn't feel bad. Fortnite runs on Epic's servers or whatever Shredder's Revenge has rollback netcode, it was specifically stated. Mario Kart is probably running on Nintendo's ancient windows 98 netcode and from what I understand Smash is probably as well and most people loathe it. I also think the issues aren't just about a "weird stance on voice chat" (where you have to download a stupid app on your phone) but also their insistence of using friend codes as well. The whole system is archaic and needs a refresh.

  14. Treasure Planet: 7/10 Treasure Planet was one of those Disney films that came from that turn of the century forgotten period between Tarzan and The Princess of the Frog alongside the rise of Pixar movies. The movie still holds the record of most expensive traditionally animated film of all time with a budget of $140 million. The film is a mix of traditional and 3D animation but doesn't look too remarkable in either direction (at least in a world where it released between Monsters, Inc and Finding Nemo). Though it is hard to comment on the 3D 20 years later I can say that the 2D is a mixed bag. Any alien creature actually looks kind of cool, but something about Jim's look was kind of goofy. The story is basically an adaptation of Treasure Island except this one is in space. One thing I did think while watching it is how much more interesting it was than Star Wars Episode 1, which it reminded me of a bit because it was about some kid on a planet zooming around on some sort of speedy surfboard, plus all the alien creatures are pretty interesting. Overall there aren't many surprises since the movie spells everything out way ahead of time. I'm not entirely sure of that John Silver deserved his redemption. The movie's big song is also Goo Goo Dolls butt rock which isn't anything special but certainly make the movie feel like a product of the time. Overall the movie is okay. It's interesting to see a Disney movie that doesn't feel Disney and also one that no one talks about.
  15. As someone who couldn't make it through the first game. I recently watched someone play through all three and it was just as bad if not worse than I remembered.
  16. Until you just end up grinding the same events over and over for that one god drop of a weapon that will be bad in a couple of months.
  17. Sounds like it got some bad word of mouth for queerbaiting. But it's Disney so I'm not too surprised. β€˜Thor: Love and Thunder’ Could Have Been Gayer, Honestly JEZEBEL.COM Director Taika Waititi and cast member Natalie Portman promised us a very gay film. Sadly, it under delivered.
