  1. I might just have to dip my toe into VR this year finally. I have NEVER even tried VR EVER though and not sure it's for me. I really wanted Half Life Alex but managed to not buy a set and that's saying something. I'll throw my wallet at most anything that even sounds remotely good so I just do not know. I thought I heard that Microsoft was going to do something with VR too maybe? Anyway I'd like to have a fairly easy setup meaning the least wires the better, and I don't want to mount and cameras or whatever they are. I'll me paying attention to this and Neta/Quest 3. I don't have a Facebook account never have so that's a problem I heard if going Meta so PSVR2 is looking to check a few of the boxes in ny preliminary stage of VR interest anyways....
  2. Runs great on my wifes 10" galaxy S7plus tablet and my note 8 phone. Man I have had this phone awhile...lol
  3. Just bought Lost in Random and DORFromatik for PC. Both were less than 6 bucks. Haven't played LIR yet but I highly recommend DORF. It's a tile land builder with lots of charm and it very easy to pick up and play. You match 6 sided tiles to terrain the best you can completing tasks and making a large map that will never replay the same way again. I REALLY REALLY like it!
  4. This is my favorite game to just pick up and play, It's just so fun. I got the "have 6 weapons evolved at once" achievement last night!! I never use Garlic it's a crutch, I mean I did but I learned. Yea it makes the early goings easy just sit there and don't move...lol but there are far better things early. This game came out of nowhere and I enjoy it alot. Hope the devs release a few updates as I'll support what ever they throw at me at this point!
  5. CURRENTLY my favorite game to play on the Steamdeck. It's just perfect and my game of the year!
  6. Hope this keeps up, I'm hoping AMD closes the gap making GPU's more affordable for performance dollars so I can buy a 5090 or 5090Ti {Most likely a 5080Ti but I can dream} for around $1500 and be done with it again for the next 3 generations at least, maybe even 4. I've gone from my 2080Ti till now and that's the longest EVER so I'm excited about the "NEXT" big GPU from Invidia. By that time RTX with DLSS 2/3 should be IRON out and everything will run 60-120 Locked with Vsync on. That's the dream. Though through the LGCx or LGC1 Vsync isn't needed!
  7. "NEED" is not the optimal word when dealing with the newest fastest tech. It's "WANT" sir. I'm sure you can understand that right? Even those "SMART" cars out on the road do 65mph {an assumption I'll admit, so maybe downhill at least...lol} but isn't something a little more flashy, faster, and cooler tap into you inner "I WANT X" self sir? Absolutely no offence intended by that, just an observation. "I WANT" every years newest GPUs, it's that top tier sexy tech that pulls me. Now I have managed to hold off as I have a 2080Ti that is really still pulling it's weight but I want a 4090ti! I'm going to throw caution to the wind in 18 months and buy Nvidia's newest top tier overly priced 50 series and build a high-end Gaming rig around it when ever they are available at or below MSRP as I will not pay scalper or low inventory prices ever on anything PC tech. I can wait. A 5090Ti sounds sooo sexy now don't it? lol
  8. STARTING IT TONIGHT!!!! On Steamdeck. I actually started it 3 days ago while watching a movie but this game demands a bit of attention in the beginning requiring a restart. Kinda alot of information in the first 2 hours for my old man gamer head to absorb these days!
  9. I put RE0 as the 6th best game in the series, if you like Re games and it sounds like you do....give it another go, it's worth it. That scorpion was pretty unexpected the first time, pretty cramped fighting but it has pattern like all bosses in the RE series.
  10. Looks a bit different and I'm a HUGE sucker for anything Horror. Collectibles, Movies and games I just love that shit! I'll check it out down the line!
  11. Bought Final Fantasy: Crisis Core Reunion 2 days ago after actually replay and finishing Resident Evil 4 on steam deck. I uninstalled RR4 and installed CCR and plan on starting it up tonight!
  12. I have 4 {5 before 2019 when my oldest son died of brain cancer} children and 10 grandkids so Christmas is really expensive. That said we as in my wife and I do not buy for ourselves. We haven't now for at least 10 years. So....for christmas I got {meaning I bought myself} 2 things that have been in my most wanted list for a while now. With the home theater room finished with my 7.2.4 dolby atmos sound system with an Onkyo RZ-50 processing the sound and 2 Outlaw amps {1 7channel & a 5 channel} powering the All SVS ultra speaker set up along with 2 SB-2000 subs along with a LGC1 83" Oled center stage I was able to buy some expensive but much less so than the components of the Home Theater obviously! I bought these to Lego Technic sets: 1.Lamborghini 2.Bagatti Chiron THIS Lego Star Wars: Millennium Falcon is what I have been REALLY REALLY been wanting but it's really hard to plop down 800+ dollars to a lego set. I have been wanting it now for over 5 years. But I did plop down 640+ dollars on TWO lego sets.....lol FUCK ME!! If I ever see it for sub 800$ I'll hit the purchase button and throw up a little. They are so very hard to justify but doesn't stop me from wanting them non the less! I had 145 dollars in credit on my Chase CC and at the time of purchase the two above sets were both under 400 bucks. Expensive yes, but not the 450 dollars they usually sell for. So total was 780 bucks minus the 145 dollars in credit on the CC I paid roughly 650 bucks. I'm happy with that. I have to be now....lol My gifts are already paid off too so that's great! Oh and this modern take on a Nixie Tube clock but it's not a real "NIXIE Tube" clock, just kinda looks like one. The one I really want is going to be awhile but I wanted a cool looking clock to bein front of the center channel in the theater room and this will be just perfect! 3.Nixie looking Clock I'm a happy guy, but I am most days anyways. The shock of the last 3+ years is beginning to make way for some better, less depressing life bullshit that has taken a very long time to move on after! Happy holidays fellow gamers, I hope you and your friends and family are happy and healthy and that this new year is a wonderful one! I REALLY REALLY mean this. And if you have children and maybe even grand kids. Hold them close, love then as if that might be your last as life can really punch the Fucking SHIT of of us sometimes. I really hope nothing like that ever happens to any of you all.
  13. I've been playing this game on and off the last 2 years mostly on my phone. I started playing it on the Steam Deck while watching tv and stuff as it's just a perfect casual game anywhere really. I noticed that on mobile you can level up your power ups to 12 apposed to only 8 max on PC and console. That's a HUGE difference but that aside I started to feel I was getting quite good on the Steam Deck with a high score of 39,000. Of course I looked up Pacman 256 high scores and FU&K MEEE! it's over 250,000...lol Anyway, do any of you all play and if so what's your high scores and also what's your go to powerup lineup? Mines Pyro, Electric, and Beam. Funny I have all those maxed on PC @lvl 8 and all three leveled up to 12 on mobile but I can't seem to better 20k on mobile. Anyway it's been a good pick up and play no stress favorite for quite some time and was wondering your scores from some here on the boards!! Cheers.....oh and if you have some strategy tips that might help in any way please do tell I thank you in advance!
  14. I like stunning graphics as much as anyone but 8k just has never had that allure, I don't see 8k as a standard for quite some time. 4k is the sweet spot when it comes to TV's I think and viewing difference. I've never seen an 8k display and knew it right away. You have to sit a few feet away to even enjoy the benefits really. Man I love my LGC1 83" I do wish somehow AMD could release something that truly catches Nvidia off guard, how fantastic would that be?
  15. I have everything maxed out except curse. Holding onto about 50,000 gold now with nothing to buy it seems.
  16. NICE! I have a shit ton of hours playing this seemingly simply at first game on my Steam deck. It's just so perfect for pick up and play short sessions to hours upon hours. This is a great game and I welcome any and all DLC they release for it!
  17. I really going to curb my spending next year. When I finally got my PS5 I bought all the big games like Ratchet & Clank, Deathloop, Elden Ring, Returnal, Dying Light 2, GT7 and both Spiderman games. Although I got them all for under 40 bucks on disc using Ebay, some as cheap as 20 I still have yet to play any of them. I did play Returnal for about 5 hours but moved on for what ever reason. This isn't breaking the bank but it's just stupid as there found cheaper, or free on PS+ tiers and the "I'll get it it soon" mentality is just stupid in my case! Just makes zero sense. Gamepass Ultimate for the most part has really checked my spending when Xbox is concerned and that's a good thing. I'm really starting to enjoy the smaller Indy type games especially on the steam deck. Next year I'm really gonna curb my buying of games that I'm not going to play then and there. Of course I've been buying games like crazy for over 30 years so it'll be a work in progress and I'm allowing for as much wiggle room as will keep me sane and content, So say 5500$ budget or less, J/K'n of course....or am I? lol Games that will not allow patience though coming up really soon are: 1. Resident Evil 4 Remake 2. Dead Space Remake 3. Diablo 4 4.Zelda's next game 5.
  18. With the Resident Evil 4 remake just around the corner I decided to play the HD remake again through Steam on my PC. THE CONTROLS PISS ME OFF they are pretty terrible, much worse than I remembered anyway. That said it's still a great game and I'm starting to get into it. Just got to the presidents daughter and I'm confident that I will beat this one lol. I'm also playing {2 hours in} Salt and Sanctuary on Steam Deck. It's really hard I know it's supposed to be but these game really kick my ass and always will. I picked it up last weekend for 6 bucks.
  19. OUCHY........lol The pull to build an overpriced gaming rig is getting quite bad. { Overpriced meaning only that I overspend I visuals and unneeded top tier components } I've waited this long though I had a weird thought last night on just how far off a 5080ti is. Funny I know but that might be my new plan. Hold off another 18 months and then build a Top tier rig. I have NEVER made it 3 generations {GPU} ever but the 4080Ti is dream worthy just imagine the 5080Ti
  20. Also I have to add when looking for PC games use Ebay, CDKeys, and Steam to find the best deals. I have learned to love CDKeys.com for the deals. You can't beat Steam Summer, winter, fall, spring, christmas, easter, thanksgiving, Aprils fools, Secretary day, Presidents day, etc sales......lol I find tons of great games on Ebay for steam keys too. Just make sure there Keys and not accounts!
  21. DON'T DO IT, but seriously DO it! NO......Wait......Don't Do IT!, seriously though yea do it! WAIT STOP......Don't DO IT, serio........ That's my life though you do you friend!
  22. I'm ALWAYS easily willing to wait for a game developer to put out their vision rather than meet a deadline. In this day and age is far to easy to just pick up another game that is on the same level and let them do their things. This just alsong as Dead Space Remake and RE4 Remake don't release late that is...lol
