  1. No your not, but this game would be ruined by a next objective right stick push like dead space has. My opinion of course.....
  2. Don't know how some of you made it through classics like Zelda: A link to the past, or FF6 & 7 without guides. They are meant to challenge your sense of exploration somewhat. I understand frustration and most game devs are so afraid to make a challenging game no-a-days that piss of everything in your hand all at once generation. I'm not calling anyone out, I'm old, like real old and I can't stand how gaming holds your hand at every turn. Easy mode, etc. I got stuck also in this game, enough to even have to walk away. But I only game 1-2 hours a session, sometimes separated by days in between. Hell I COULD NOT WAIT FOR Dead Space remake and it took almost 3 weeks to beat! I'm also not good at Dark Souls games period. I have only beaten 1&2, blood bourne, and demon souls but I respect them. Hell Rougue Like games are back to how games were in the day, love them. They are hard yes. I don't want anyone to play a game if they hate the experience, but these games aren't that hard, they may just rely on a bit more patience and exploration and a bit of a memory. Especially in the beginning when most games feel a bit tough. It's ok people. it's ok.....
  3. AGREE! After the initial couple hours it all just starts to click. I played 3 hours last night and got the super missile, spider ball, double jump & Thermal visor I'm up to 30 missiles and 6 life tanks! I have not looked up anything and I'm glad I didn't. It's ok to actually use memory and explore, explore. I'm not saying everyone likes this style but I think it's brilliant and it's why WE {Well, "I"} Hold Nintendo in such high regard! I also might add that I, unhooked my ps4 and docked the Switch to use my dusty Pro controller. I had forgotten just how fantastic this controller is! The sticks are a different kind of smooth, just creamy like. Loving this game, I truly am and I'll be finished this weekend. I still have the newest side scrolling one to play on Switch, better get on that before Metroid4 comes out lol! Tonight I'm out for how to open those WHITE doors {Frost beam I'm guessing} and that illusive grapple hook! Funny note: I was playing last night and accidently held the right trigger a bit too long and I saw a life globe MOVE TOWARDS me!!! I was shocked! I thought I had to "REFIND" the trackerbeam UPGRADE thingy that sucks things to you?!. You lose EVERYTHING in the beginning I thought that was gone as well!!! I had a good laugh at that.
  4. I haven't looked up anything and have gotten stuck a few times and just had to walk away. I had a really good run last night and found the ball bomb and the suit that lets you go into the hot areas finally so I'm progressing well now. I have been actually using my phone to take some pictures and then using my note 8's stylus drawing places to revisit with what upgrade is needed, etc. This and also used to to remember where not to go taking pictures of places I know I can't go into so's to make better understanding where i've been and have not been! GREAT GAME THOUGH, JUST BEAT THE giant praying mantis flower what ever thingy last night found the hot suit and save for a run tonight!
  5. 100% disagree. Dooms map was easy to navigate. It always showed where to go, also showed where all the hidden stuff was. Sure you had to explore to find the secret stuff but I'd love eternals map style to be in the MPrime game.
  6. I believe that if they keep the Name and go with "SWITCH2" then they have to have it backwards compatible, but this is Nintendo where talking about and they never seem to mind making everyone an after thought. If Backwards Compatible it's easily a day one purchase, if not I'm done. I'm starting to really anticipate their next gen console though this past year. It's time, I think they know it. THOUGHTS? Well I guess I'd buy it for all new games if there were a nice launch collection, but there going to sell a shit ton either way, I'm ready....I THINK!
  7. Struggling with the map. I know there is a learning curve but it's just very confusing. I'll get used to it but it's annoying to say the least. The rest of the experience is just awesome. Having 2 sticks in this FPS is really an HUGE UPGRADE. The game looks and runs beautifully!
  8. We also just last weekend bought an LGC2 42" to replace out NU8000 samsung 50" for the bedroom. It was too big and looked stupid where we had it on our dresser. The new TV is wall mounted all wires hidden {In wall} and is just sleek looking. Love, Love, LOVE!! these LGCseries TV's. Note: I have never gamed in my bedroom other than handheld! Best of luck not finding that Switch......
  9. Well I just saw this post and went and checked if I owned it on my Arcade system. That game I have not played before. When I see these old games I like to look them up in my emulation Arcade system. Like I said...It's supposedly has over 40k games in it. I almost never find a game from the ps1/2/xbox/360 down all the way to early Atari, colleco vision, commidor64, intellivision, etc, etc. early PC games computer games too and every damned digital pinball game also. Also has every handheld game too! I have after market controllers for the console games. To play most Wii games you have to have a controller to play the games, it's just not an official control. There all Wireless and have to work on a windows PC. It's a fun little system. Scrolling through 40,000+ games isn't as fun as it sounds though. There just so many. I have about 300 game in my favorite
  10. Just checked and I own it on my Stand up Arcade System. It has MOST EVERYTHING. Easily has all Arcade games and Pinball games, but every game released in the last 40 years. All console games up to the Xbox 360 and PS3. I think it's around 40,000 games. Mind numbing amount of nostalgia packed into this amazing machine. 20230214_153649.jpg - Google Drive DRIVE.GOOGLE.COM
  11. Bought this on Sunday and have put in two seperate 2 hour sessions. It looks fantastic and the controls are much better using 2 sticks. This was one of my favorites on the Gamecube and I'm glad to own the Remake on the switch.
  12. Very first graphics card I ever bought was a voodoo card {Model I can't remember} from Circuit City around 25 years ago. Was mostly playing Doom and Diablo 2 at the time! I had them put in my Dell PC. I remember we also upgraded the RDram and it was stupid expensive at the time. They fucked up my PC and we had to do a full system install. We had home movies of my Wifes Mom using a usb webcam that we lost. This traumatized us and I have been upgrading and building my own PC ever since. What was so bad was my wife's mom was dying of Cancer and she was doing little video logs on our PC. We charashed those videos after she passed away. We learned a hard lesson on the importance of backing up pictures and home videos the very very hard way.
  13. THIS!! RE2 is my all-time favorite out of all of them and the Remake is just incredible. It give quality of life options control wise but still keeps the look and feel of the OG game. I still think though archaic the controls of the OG re1 & 2 were what led to the tension. If you had Call of Duty controls and a dodge button they wouldn't have hit as hard IMHO. That said, with RE2 OG in my all-time top 5 games EVER, the RE2 Remake is just incredible and so is RE1 remake. 3 was just OK, and I actually didn't buy the RE3 remake I borrowed my daughters disk...lol I now own all of the game except 5&6 on steam deck, oh and not Code Veronica.
  14. Resident Evil: Death Island Exclusive Teaser Trailer - IGN WWW.IGN.COM D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all visited Alcatraz Island recently. Following that clue, Chris and his team head...
  15. Congratz, enjoy your new toy when it arrives. I'm surprisingly active on mine. Nintendo hasn't even been booed up in a very long time now......lol
  16. Absolutely loving it and I knew I would. I'm gonna logg in another 2-3 hours starting now, I have been taking a break between gaming sessions as I refuse to play this with any daylight outside at all. I close my bedroom door when the wife goes to bed and luckily the wife can't hear itt when it's turned WAY WAY UP in the home theater room!
  17. Ok, so back to my original thought appreciated sir!....lol see confused as the the number were on now, I'm gaming on 32 gigs DDR4 corsair 3200 memory now go i'm sure DDR5 will be a huge improvement down the road. I'm just glad I some how managed to hold off on the 40 series. I was dead set on a new gaming PC THIS YEAR but I'm glad I didn't. I'm still gaming fine on this 2080Ti/I7 9700k PC. I likely will also go AMD CPU maybe a 7900X3d because of power draw and heat. By the time the 50 series GPU's are out though we'll have banging new CPUs out and the cycle continues. I've never built a AMD anything and I think it's time, or at least in 18 months or so....lol
  18. I'm already locked into waiting for nvidia 50series so DDR6 is also a must. I was confused on the number. it's going to be a ddr6 gaming pc with a 50 sseries card and what ever is the king in cpus at that time.
  19. Starting to get itchy fingers for my new gaming PC. Realistically I have locked in on Nvidia's 50Series cards but these deals on 600series mother boards are getting better and better. I'm sure 18 months from now the z690's might just be MUCH MORE affordable along with DDR5 memory.
  20. I have that exact same set of components, and I have a 850watt power supply, Corsair platinum I think!
  21. Wasn't complaining just it is what it is. As it was I still stayed up to late friday night before the trip. I do ALL night driving so when the sun came up I slept till we got there...lol Driving/riding long trips just wipes me out though. So I didn't even play last night, I waited till it was really dark and then just didn't feel like it. Gonna try again tonight. Only 5 hours in so far.
  22. Played it for two hours friday night and managed pull myself away because of a almost 4 hour drive saturday morning at 5am for my Grandsons 3rd Birthday party. After that and the drive back, we arrived back home at 7pm jumped right back into Dead Space for another 3 hours and it was/is just fantastic. Can't wait to do another 3hrs tonight!
  23. i managed to NOT buy Callisto Protcol even though Dead Space is one of my favorite games EVER! Knowing this remake was coming so soon helped. I for some reason have zero want to even play it.
