  1. Resident Evil 4: Remake at night {only two night and a total of 4 hours played so far} on the Home theater's 83" Oled and Star Wars: Jedi fallen order on steam deck in between!! SW: JFO was a steal at 3.99 Steam sale last week!
  2. Yea this is NOT XCOM in anyway....lol weird, but I'm on board there have been some really good top down twin stick shooter in the last few years, I'll give this a try too.
  3. I pay 90 a month for Spectrum here in Oregon. It's 600mbs down and 50mbs up with no cap. I hate this bill but I pay it every month knowing there's nowhere to run and get faster, cheaper anything around here. I'm glad to have it, just hate paying for it....
  4. That all went over my head, I actually do-not-know what your even talking about. No offence. I mean the game in linier as all RE games are, is that the problem? What are said coins your referring to? or are you bothered buy the actual lack of alternate direction in the story. Other than weapons the game isn't going to play differently. I think I just don't understand the your issue...
  5. CRAP forgot all about that! I'm all in on PSVR2 if SONY would just FU%$ING release it in retail stores. Having RE: Village and GT7 in my library I'm excited to give a VR unit a try. I refuse to buy it from the SONY store though......I have never even had a VR headset in my hands let alone on my head so I'm unsure how I would like it....I've said it before, but if I could buy it at BestBuy I'd have 60 days to return and an automatic 2 year warranty! So I'm sticking to my guns and going to wait until it's a retail product.
  6. Yea but at the rate I play games it takes me forever to beat a game. I LOVED the last God of War, it's up there in my all time favorites easily. Even a game like Resident Evil 4 will take me 2 weeks to finish. Really I could retire for at least 5 years from buying games, I'm pretty buried with AAA titles that are unplayed. Games like Dying Light 2, Deathloop, The newest Ratchet and Clank, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Demon Souls Remake, Eldenring, Death Stranding, The NEW Horizon game, The Final Fantasy 7 remake, Crisis Core: Reunion, etc etc just off the top of my head! Oh....Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga, and BOTH Spiderman games!!
  7. I started on Hard and it's kicking my ass in a good way. I've played now about 4 hours and I've dies more than I would like to say. I'm head shotting much better after I severely adjusted the default aiming. I turned of aim assist first thing, had to max out sensitivity in both game and aiming. I was kinda shocked at how slow the default was because I'm in no way a twitch shooter in games, many times I lower sensitivity but not here. Oh and the FUCKING bear traps were PISSING ME OFF last night....lol I haven't missed many, I deactivate them using my LEG.....lol
  8. The HDR in this game is so fantastic!! Switching back and forth it's just a game changer. Also playing it on my LGC1 83" just brings everything to the next level. I know many beat the "Perfect BLACKS" thing to death, but it is just a thing to behold when in person. And the Dolby surround is also next level. It was hard to betray my Resident Evil collection on PC for this game but the Series X wasn't in any way a "wrong" choice.
  9. Tonight as soon as it's pitch dark outside I'll be playing around 3 hours or until the Cops arrive with a noise complaint which ever comes first....lol It's install and updated on Series X! What a few month, I Still have Elden Ring & GoW: Ragnarok to play, We have this amazing game with Diablo IV next month and the LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom in May. There a shit ton of hours in these games, especially Diablo. Pretty excited. Resident Evil 4: remake is the first game this year I paid full price for. $69.99. I'll do the same for Zelda and Diablo . . .
  10. Well I just bought the Deluxe Edition for 69.99 for Series X and it's downloading everything NOW. I was hoping it would Pre-load. Not sure I'll get to it as it's still 2 hours till Midnight here pacific-time but excited to have this game, Couldn't do it for PC this time, though I'm sure the 2080ti is still quite capable, I just had to have it on the 83" LGC1 Oled. Also sucks as I refuse to play these games unless it's pitch dark outside and the sound turned way up. Bad combo for my neighbours but really good for me. I'm sure the visuals will be pretty good but Sound is by far the most important element when gaming.
  11. Ok this game on Steamdeck needs to be brought down to medium settings, set FPS to 30, vsync on and it then runs very well, I got three 2.5 hours out of it at these setting! It can't lock 40fps even with medium settings but it still looks really good at these settings. In contrast I played it first on my PC with a 2080ti / I7 9700k / 32 gigs DDr4 3200 and it locks in at 60 with vsync with all high settings. I also turned off film grain and motion blur. Great game, runs well on the deck!
  12. ....and sell it to me @Best Buy as a bundle and I'm all over it. Imagine a PS5Pro, PSVR2 bundle with Half Life Alex!! I have a thousand dollar bill waiting, just give me that chance...lol
  13. I'm ready for a ps5 pro. I moved my PS5 out of the home theater and into the game room where I play on a 65" LGCX, but I miss that wall rattling surround sound and the 83" LGC1 immersiveness !! LOL Meaning that a second maybe a bit more powerful PS5 has a place if it ever comes to be....
  14. WHY is the PSVR2 not being sold in retail stores? I'm ready to give this a shot but I want to buy it at Best Buy so that my Total Tech membership covers it for 2 years automatically and most importantly gives me 60 days to return anything, thus plenty of time to see if this is something I want long term!? I can not understand why it's only sold at sony's stores?? Oh well I will wait this out.....
  15. It's almost 11:30pm and I have it installed on the deck and playing it now. I have it at all high settings with Motion blur off and film grain off, Vsync on and it's holding 60 so far but it just started. It's also already got the fan spinning pretty high though. For the most part after the initial high I was on with the steam deck I have stayed away from this thing can run anything attitude. AAA titles just run to loud and hot for my liking and just 25 minutes in this is acting in that way too. Now I expected this but just letting you know. I might adjust some slifers down a bit more, no way i'm trying epic settings...lol It's still an amazing handheld, I just have stopped playing games like Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Skyrim, etc. Though Skyrim ran pretty well I just prefer a larger screen on open world games. I'll update after a few hours....
  16. The Horror vibe that OG RE1 had was still to this day the best! I think the control added to the suspense too. As someone who has been a fan since day one, and I love the remakes, RE1 original is by far the scariest as in Horror. I miss that dearly!
  17. Resident Evil 4: remake is $45.49 on CDKeys.com for the Steam version, Now the choice is even harder. $45 bucks on an "OK" PC / 65" LGCX & decent 5.1 surround sound or $60/70 bucks on Series X 83" LGC1 $ AMAZING 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos Surround system? Resident Evil 4 | PC | CDKeys WWW.CDKEYS.COM Buy Resident Evil 4 PC ✔️ CD Key ✔️ Instant download ✔️ Fantastic price ✔️ Digital Download ✔️
  18. I realize most of us have played this game already but if you don't own it on PC, $3.99 is a steal. Pretty fantastic game I think and is highly praised by most. Not sure how the SteamDeck will handle it but it's a good title to have on PC, so I grabbed it...
  19. I'm kinda torn!! I have all the Resident Evil games on PC. Actually there all on the Steamdeck as a collection. RE0-8 I replayed the newest version of 4 in January this year and loved it in preparation to getting this. My PC is in the game room along with my PS5 right now hooked up to a LGCX 65" Oled and a decent sound system but not like my Home theater SVS 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos set up along with the LGC1 83" Oled. I have the Xbox Series X out there too. I'll be building my Dream PC whenever the 50 series RTX cards are released. Just gonna do it, pull the trigger on a 5090 and retire this 2080Ti / I7 9700k system that has performed so much better than I had ever imagined really. So probably getting Resident evil 4: Re-Remake on Series X. I'll be buying Diablo 4 on PC for sure though! Still prefer playing on PC. Pretty excited for RE4 and Diablo IV. Two HUGE releases back to back. Haven't spent full price on any games this year yet and that's saying something!
