  1. I'm interested. I've been using the Pixel 2XL for a few years now. Slowly getting the urge to upgrade.
  2. Definitely scary that you can be in good shape and not know you have a small blockage ready to take you out at any moment. Really glad everything worked out for him. I love his work.
  3. Looks like I'm going to be waiting a long time before adding storage to the PS5. I know it's a fancy fast hard drive. But I'm really not interested until I can get a 1TB for not much more than a hundred bucks.
  4. I remember watching the Slipknot Disaterpiece DVD at my friend's house almost 20 years ago. We lost our shit when the drummer did a solo while slowly turning upside down. I'm not sure if this YouTube clip is the exact scene or if he did it multiple times.
  5. Part of me does it thinking as my son gets older, maybe he will want to play some of them....it's a nice lie I tell myself haha. I know he probably won't care about 75% of the games.
  6. I mean... I know I'm going to eagerly click "Add to Library" to each one of those. But I'm never going to play them.
  7. Didn't that part have a baby crying in the background? I remember getting stuck on that level for a few minutes too long because it was a maze. It was very grating on the ears.
  8. I'm always interested in his movies although I'm not always blown away like some people are. The poster definitely makes me want to know more.
  9. Feels the same here in PA. I'm tired of rain. It's sometimes everyday or every other day. Wish this weather would get pushed far out west where its desperately needed. I have a big tree line in my back yard that's taking a beating with these storms all the time. It's technically on the railroads property and they let the trees get way too tall for their own good. One fell on my shed in April but I was able to repair the damage myself. Then last week during one of the many rainy days, an even bigger tree fell right up against the shed but didn't damage it this time. Tree runs the whole length of my back yard and it's weighing power lines down. Power company hasnt cared to look at it yet.
  10. I watched it with the kids this morning. Wasn't really a fan. Didn't have any of the soul that the first movie had. There was a lot throughout the movie that was fine. There were plenty of jokes and scenes that my 7 and 9 year old had zero clue about but they still liked it. My 2 biggest gripes? (1) The background characters during the big game were very distracting. To the point of just being unnecessary. I'm pretty sure Pennywise from It made at least 3 to 4 appearances because my daughter who is scared of him made sure to say so everytime. (2) As a kid when I would watch Space Jam, it made me want to get out in the driveway right away and start playing basketball. Even now when I watch it as an adult I will still want pick up a ball and start shooting. Got none of that feeling with the new movie. Basketball was kind of 2nd or 3rd on the list here instead of first. You know the scene at the end of Space Jam where MJ has to get looney and stretch his arm half way across the court to make the final shot? It's like the makers of this movie took that and made it the whole basketball game. It's neat... just not memorable or fun to me.
  11. Do any of the characters in this game speak? I was somewhat excited to play Nickelodeon Kart Racer 2 that came out last year with my kids and within a few minutes of playing you realize there are no voices in the game. No catchphrases, no speaking, no laughter, nothing. Totally killed the game for me. I'm watching this Brawl trailer and...... no character voices.....
  12. I never followed much of Stephen Colbert but lately I feel like I'm seeing more of him. I don't know if it's the tone of his voice or just his general schtick, but I found him annoying. A couple times it sounds like he is making a joke and stares at the camera a second too long with no laugh track behind him. Also their live feed was choppy as hell. The SpaceX streams felt leagues better than this.
  13. Not that there is anything wrong with an OLED screen, but I would have picked a bigger/better battery over an OLED screen and if that tweet is correct, it's the same battery life. Lame.
  14. Alright look, I need to vent somewhere about this. I was invited to 3 cookouts this weekend. All 3 served frozen fucking burger patties on gas grills. Fuck that. Blah! One flavorless binder filled meat patty after another! I'm all about fresh ground beef on my charcoal grill. It might take 20 minutes to get the charcoal burning in the chimney and the grill heating up, but it's worth it dammit.
  15. Fire on ocean surface in Gulf of Mexico extinguished following gas leak - ABC News WWW.GOOGLE.COM A fire on the ocean surface in the south of the Gulf of Mexico has been extinguished, following a gas leak from an underwater pipeline sparked the blaze. Not a lot of info but apparently "Pemex has a long record of major industrial incidents".
  16. That's one way to make the ocean even warmer. Joking aside, what the fucking fuck!? I have no other words....
  17. If I'm reading it right, they purposely detonated the devices? With all the bullshit rules and regulations in this world, they are allowed to detonate explosives in the middle of a neighborhood?
  18. @Commissar SFLUFANWow, the digital world we live in. People really are recording all the time. That same website also has security footage of the building falling down which I hadn't seen before. Building looks much bigger in that footage and I can't imagine many people at all could have survived.
  19. I don't know what to believe but I'm open to both sides of thinking. The videos released look like shit for the most part and you can barely tell what you're looking at. But then you have things like the 60 Minutes interview with David Fravor describing an object that just zips around in the blink of an eye, can stop on a dime then continue, and have no visible propulsion trails coming off of it. Have any experts weighed in to say if that technology is possible right now or what it would take to recreate it?
